Gentle persons, it is perfectly possible to comment on a mod without calling other people names, insulting their intelligence, belittling their perceived politics or saying that their standards should match yours. If you have something to say about the mod, feel free. If you're using the mod as a platform for other issues, take it to the debate forum.
Wait. If I install this mod, and my friend does not, wouldn't we just see two different versions of the character? Wouldn't he see the original, while I'm seeing the modded version?
Rosario Dawson is a great and beautiful actress, but they really did a terrible job modeling her in this game, I'm replaying it as new game+ just for this mod (and I am legion mod), honestly, this is an absolute mandatory mod, just like when Forbidden West releases on PC, Aloy's proper beauty model mod will be mandatory. I don't understand why any developer would purposely made a main character uglier, there is no point to prove.
To be honest I don't get it. When I play games I look for the ideal, cool, intimidating or gorgeous characters not "life-like" ugly characters who are not life like at all.
And to be honest Doomedsinner, not even "Life-like", because at least in my city, I can HARDLY find these ugly girls the media is pushing. It's like they don't visit malls, gyms, parks... They just go to those dark places where ugly people tend to reunite.
No kidding. I don't own the game but I'm browsing mods to see what there is and the thumbnail stuck out. How did they manage to make Rosario Dawson of all people look that bad in game? lol
where can i get that aloy mod the sensitive marxists that run this site got offended by beauty and deleted it what a shocker
That kind of thing is creating a push for a new mod site to compete with Nexus Mods. I'm a lifetime member, and love this site, but when I signed up, this kind of needless censorship of mods wasn't happening. Mods are about freedom of choice. Unless the mod is doing something illegal, or promoting something illegal, such as something to do with kids, that's bad and illegal, promoting murder, insurrection, rape, etc., they shouldn't be deleting or censoring mods. All they are doing is creating a need that somebody else will be happy to fill. That's going to hurt their business.
I don't get it either. I love Rosario Dawson as an actor, and loved her in Firefly, but to be honest, she's just never been my type. There's masculine quality to her face. This isn't uncommon. I know a lady who named off several male actors who she said are too feminine looking. She said she didn't understand how some women liked that. She preferred much more masculine looking men. Like George Clooney over Leonardo DiCaprio. I don't think Rosario is ugly. Just not my type.
But that's the issue here. Games should allow us to tailor our experience. They don't always do that, so we've always looked to mods for that. If Nexus Mods won't allow this, somebody else eventually will. You can't legislate preference.
Could you make a mod that replace automatically Lawan model for that of the dlc that they added recently? Because in the game you have to open a chest first to get it...
Indeed, they must have spent days sifting through photo after photo, extracting the worst possible angle of each feature of her face, then combining them into a bowl of mashed potato for the final model. She is really quite attractive in person!

She doesn't look like a real person though. And she definitely doesn't look like the actress she's supposed to look like.
