I'm going to add a very quick disclaimer and explain some things real quick,
1) Is this getting updated anytime soon? Yes it will be, I've been seeing rumours of a "second chapter" of Dying Light 2 so instead of having a week of the mod working and then breaking I thought I'd wait it out until the update to start fixing any issues.
2) I'm having issues with godmode/insta death/crashing when using an item This is due to Techland changing things in the parameters of the player and more so adding things in which break what was working before, you used to get one hit because of the fact that they added a damage section that completely overhauled how damage is taken by the player.
3) Where have you been? Plain and simple, I've started a new workplace and I've been trying to have my main focus on keeping this job down as opposed to updating a mod for a game that I don't really play anymore. I will update it but I find it mostly wasted effort when literal days after I update, Techland release an update that completely undoes anything that I fixed.
I hope you understand, I will be addressing god mode and trying to dial it down. I only added that in because I was desperately looking for a way to reduce damage but I couldn't find a solid solution so I released it as is. It was intentional for the time but was never a permanent option.
It seems events break mods completely, and not just mine. However there is a a bypass to skip the event and continue playing with the mod active.
Run Dying Light 2 in offline mode on steam As long as the game doesn't connect to the server, it should not start the event on launch and as such you should be able to continue playing
As far as I can tell, events don't break mods completely, they "just" break mods that are using player_variables.scr, etc. All stuff that alters the player character.
Hi Fisto, i really like the strength and knockback from punches and kicks in this mod but i can't seem to replicate it in the code. Would you care to show me how or in the best care scenario release an updated version of the mod?
Hey i just want everyone to know that if you cant move its probably because of the safe zone your in i find most windmill safe zones work for me. also if you cant run or jump try switching the movement from realistic to the other one.
when I go to a mission area I just freeze and most of the ability's don't work. The only thing this mod changes is invincibility' unlimited stamina' and boosted parkour. there is A LOT of bugs. Its still a good mod though but PLEASE FIX THIS MOD I LOVE IT AND IT COULD BE SOOOO MUCH BETTER.
Mods broken or im doing something wrong.... I put the mod into the sources folder where mods usually go. I get into the game and just nothing works, I can't move sometimes, I can't jump, and the 1 time i managed to shimmy my way onto a roof and outside I used the grapple with it suspending me up mid air, no momentum or anything only allowing me to web zip to places lol. I think the mod might need an update really really badly haha. :) Which is a shame I got this mod and was actually pretty hyped for it..
