Sorry to be a pain but I have tried using "Ranger and Air Raider Vehicles Advanced" but when loading into a mission, the game locks up and crashes. I think I've done something wrong, but I'm not sure. I have no other mods installed.
If you have any advice, I would be thankful. I mainly just want the ranger to be able to use Nixes.
It sounds like a conflict in the inventory slots. "Ranger and Air Raider Vehicles Advanced" is a merge of several mods, including one that gives more weapon slots to all classes. That can spell trouble, if you end up with the wrong type of items in your equipment slots: like an accessory in a weapon slot. You should double check every one of your items, opening the slot and re-selecting it, even if at first glance everything seems to be in order.
I added a 3+3 Ranger at the class addons page, but I should also make a 3+3 Wing Diver. Her 3 backpacks would be 2 throwables and the plasma core. Fencer is pretty much impossible to change like this, unfortunately.
As for Air Raider, consider that we can't have 3 throwables (the third would lack a keybind), so I can only make 2 throwables and 1 passive. But Air Raider lacks passive items, so there's not much I can do.
Is it possible to combine this mod with the one that gives everyone 4 weapon slots, lootmaster, and 3x armor multiplier? I noticed you had a few combinations of these mods on with your other mods and was wondering if they could go with this one as well.
Love this mod, used the brians one as it has autoloot and armor gain. Its frustrating we cannot use multi mods at once using a mod manager or something as if I add another mod it breaks this one.
This is only tangentially related to this mod, but deals with the backpack/accessory slots so thought you'd be a good person to ask. Is it possible to add the ranger/air raider vehicles to each other's lists so they both have access to all vehicles? I'd think that should be fairly easy since they both already have vehicle calldowns but I know modifying code is rarely ever as simple as it seems.
Edit: I also found a mod that allows every class to equip 4 weapons like the Fencer can, would it be possible to make that compatible with this mod? I notice that mod and this mod both use a Config.SGO file so I don't think they innately would work together.

Crap. I was hoping you'd get back to me about whether it was possible. My group of friends use the balance mod and we play all 4 classes so we'd want the wing diver to have 4 weapon slots too. I am incredibly thankful that you'd go through the effort of making that update just for me though. I'll look to see how to edit .SGO files so I can combine what you just made with your balance mod version
Is it possible to make one of the Fencer weapon slots to accept accessories? By the default Fencers get 2 slots already but its kinda sad to them left out of the mod.
No, almost any change to Fencer leads to a crash. It's extremely picky. So far I got him to use 6 weapons instead of 4, but that wasn't particularly fun. One thing I would like to, is to always give the Fencer two versions of each weapon, one with dash and another with boost.
Do you know if I can combine, merge, or otherwise use this alongside "EDF 6 Brian Balance mod" found here on the Nexus? I really want the added flexibility and creative build options your mod here provides, but I also really enjoy some of the balance changes featured in Brian's trending mod.
Oh, perfect! Thank you so much sir! I might recommend copying the Brian Mod with Advanced Backpacks and Lootmaster optional file to this page as well. At least to me this seemed like a more logical place to look for it, and some people might not see it otherwise.
