is that the base dragon form, or lannesax? i know this was ages ago that you commented lol, but im lookin g to specifically put this on the dragon priestess rather then the original form. i have a separate mod for that one
Faced a similar problem and found a solution: - Use UXM Selective Unpacker to unpack the data files and let it patch the regular eldenring.exe. (while the modpage says its not fixed yet, It worked as of three days ago so it seems the issue was fixed) - Copy the files of this mod into the parts folder and let them overwrite whatever files with the same name were there - Have Seamless Coop installed as normal (basically just drop the seamless coop folder and launcher in the same folder eldenring.exe is in)
Note: If you know the ID of armorpieces you want to use instead you can rename the files of the mod to fit that id instead and make it work (however not all armorpieces work flawlessly depending on their original mesh, some helmets failed to hide the entire head and neck model when overwritten by this mods files. This link has a list of pretty much all ids: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/articles/158
The seamless coop launcher still uses the eldenring.exe, so after doing this you can start seamless coop as normal and it will work. Keep in mind that the original archives (the data files umx unpacks for you) still need to be present or the launcher crashes. This will roughly double the needed space of your installation!
If you have the space you can also move the entire Game folder somewhere outside the steam folders. It will still work as long as steam is running. Has the advantage that you can have the actual steam folder free of mods while still enjoying this mod in seamless coop (as that launcher does not care if its actually nested in steams folders).
I hope this saves someone else the time it took me to wrap my head around how to get this to work with seamless coop.
Just a warning, at least in my game when I equipped this with Ray Tracing on it made the game run at 1fps and made a huge dark patch around the player in the world. So just make sure that's off and then everything worked fine.
I'm having a problem with getting the mod to work, wanted to start a dragon dressed run but after using the grand merchant mod to just get the armor inmedietly, the armor doesn't change to dragon, idk If I did smth wrong, or If I have to go all the way to the tree sentinel at Farum to get the armor properly. I'll reply to this comment when I do that, gonna take a while to get there fast xD.
I just did it the easy way by changing all of the armor file numbers for this mod to 1280 which is the starting armor for the vagabond class. I went into Yapped to hide the default face and hands and presto. Starting Vagabond dragon.
That fixed it, I had some troubles with UXM and Mod Manager 2, and after restoring and unpacking in UXM and reinstalling the mod, it worked. Now I just wish that there was a version without that big wings and maybe the neck not being so long, but more like a normal neck, just like the dragon form in DS1. So it fits more with armors. Working good tho, I'll enjoy the run.
As a avid fan of the dragon form from Dark Souls 1, I am actually EXTREMELY EXCITED for this sort of thing and am curious if it's possible to be like humanoid versions of some of the other dragons too. That being said... I am not so confident in modding Elden Ring so I have to question, is the dragon costume purely on just one piece of armor (the boots?) or all four?
