Okay, now I have to ask, how do I use this mod? I already installed it and nothing happens, is there a special button or something to use this animation?
It would be really sick if the Maliketh swap still glew with Destined Death when you use the move. Saw a similiar mod that made Malenia's Hand have black flame.
i replaced the file but then delete it cuz i don't want it anymore and now i cant see hand of malenia sword i can use it but i cant see it because i didn't make a back up to it. there is any solution?
Delete the files that were replaced by my mod and use UXM's 'Unpack' function to add them back in. No, you don't need to use 'Restore' or click 'Patch' to do so. Just unpack the game again and the missing files will be back to their vanilla state. Shouldn't take longer than a minute or two to complete the process.
Is this as simple as replacing mesh files with other mesh files or does it require some other finicky stuff? I love the idea, but I'm thinking it'd be cool to replace the weapon with the Royal Greatsword for me.
I misspoke in that last comment. What I meant was replacing files in general is all that's needed.
Let's say you want to replace weapon 001 with the model of weapon 002. You need to copy everything from weapons 002 guts, e.g. the .flver, .tpf, .hkx, .clm2, .anibnd, or whatever's inside, and place it in the folder of weapon 001. Then you simply delete all the 001 files and rename the 002 into 001 ones accordingly. After that you just compile it back with Yabber and you're done.
Do note that you need to also edit the '_yabber-bnd4.xml' to accommodate any extra files that were not present in weapon 001, but were part of 002, like animations and such. If 002 had a .hkx and 001 didn't, you need to add it to the list in the xml files that Yabber created while decompiling the dcx. If you don't then Yabber will skip those extra files while compiling the dcx, and the weapon won't fully work and some stuff will be missing from it.
Do you accept request?? Can you make for godslayer greatsword instead?? This sword has amazing and stylish weapon skill but the design of the sword is pretty decent..
You can swap it with a model of a shield and the moveset would remain intact. It's just a model, so nothing changes when it comes to handling the weapon.
I loved the idea man!!!! I would very much want to do some weapon editing in Elden Ring. Having that said, I'm very much an idiot on it. Would you mind sharing on how did you do it? Do you know what's the file name for Moonveil?

possible to swap the "Bloodhound's Fang" with the model of the "Knight's Greatsword" keeping the moveset of the Bloodhound?
