Hello. Use Smithbox. It has a Merge Params section to the right side. Click Target Regulation. Select the mod you want to import into your regulation.bin. Click apply.
Hello. Could you please update your mod to the latest version? I tried to do it myself, but nothing worked out, and I really want to play in your mod. Thanks in advance!
My game version is 1.12, but for some reason, I can't use it either. It keeps showing that the save file is damaged. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Thank you very much.
I taught myself how to do this because i hate videos and nobody really has detailed enough instructions here. The information is out there, but if this is the first time you've ever attempted to work with modding tools (was for me), you'll probably make some silly assumptions or mistakes. Took me a few hours to figure just what to do, but since I got it working, rather that saying "I got it", here's what I did:
1. Go grab Smithbox 2. Run it, create a new project (your new regulation.bin will be saved here) and point Smithbox to your game exe 3. Download and extract the CSVs that Tellah9 has provided, thankfully 4. The CSVs are named for the fields that you need to select in the leftmost panel in Smithbox. There's a field for each. Select them, and pin them (optional). 5. For each field, select it, then in the Data tab on top, select Import CSV > From file > All fields and select the appropriately named CSV file. 6. After doing all three, you can select File > Save all modified params 7. If you want to modify the FP, Tellah9 describes how to do so in a recent comment reply 8. Copy the new regulation.bin from your Smithbox project directory into your game folder. Done, you've updated this mod for yourself.
My thanks for this. I used smithbox for this game a while ago to merge some mods, but I couldn't remember all the details on what to do. (like yourself I'm not a fan of videos)
So, as I'm working with the fp regen version, do I have to simply download the reg.bin file and put it in modengine2 for it to work? Or are there some additional steps required?
Hello! So, to my understanding, this mod is not functioning as of the latest ER update, and I can update the mod myself by importing the CSV files. Only issue is, I have no clue how to do this, as I have no modding experience. Could anyone perhaps give a little tutorial? Thanks in advance!
Hi: Could someone please update and share this mod to work with v1.13.2 of the game? I would have liked to do it myself but I don't understand how to do it.
I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I'll be abroad for a long time. You can update the regulation.bin file yourself by importing the CSV files under the optional files section.
