Does it work on all versions of the game? - I don't know, I only tested it on 1.12.2, 1.10, 1.09 and 1.09.1, maybe some features will and others won't
The game doesn't crash but the menu doesn't open - make sure you close programs like msi afterburner/rivatuner/reshade and other similar overlay programs because they interfere with the menu
The game crashes on startup or after injecting the dll - try to increase the 'load_delay value' in the 'mod_loader_config.ini' to something like 10000-15000; the game MUST be in borderless window or windowed mode before installing the mod and must remain like that even after installing the mod or the game will crash
Can I changethe default 'p' open button - yes, open the config.ini file in the Elden Menu folder and change the [open/close key] "key value" to one of the following key codes
The game register the click even when i click on the menu - I know, I couldn't find a proper fix for that
Will you update the mod with newer features/fix it for newer versions of the game? - I only made this as a personal project for learning purposes, I will update it only if I want to and have time to, please don't request newer features
PS:
The mod runs under directX12 (as the game default API) so if you are using some way to launch the game with e.g Vukan API than it won't work
Don't open the menu in the main menu, wait to the game to fully load, otherwise something may not work
Antiviruses may flag the .dll as virus, but this is completely normal when the file is operating with games memory, don't worry about it
For everyone wondering if there will be an update for dlc stuff and/or general improvements I still haven't planned any future update, so updates may or may not come in the next weeks/months. Thanks for understanding.

Was hoping I could have some help; I had this mod before on an old version before the new update. After completely uninstalling the game and then reinstalling (on a new drive) when using this mod, I am missing the Configuration file, and I cannot use the menu in game even when using the default "p". Is there something that I can do to fix this?
Game launches, then forces itself into fullscreen 15 seconds later despite changing the settings without mod active and also telling steam to launch in borderless window, which causes it to crash badly, can't even open task manager with ctrl+alt+del. Cannot fix by delaying mod loader. Doesn't work.
Just had the same sort of issue, not sure if it was the mod that forced fullscreen but after not playing for months i went back and had to deal with what you were dealing with. To fix (if you gave up or if anyone else having the same issue finds this) first in task manager i checked the always appear on top option so i could actually quit out of the game when it freezes. Then I backed up and deleted the game's graphicconfig in app data roaming, started the game, and immediately tabbed over to some folder in windows explorer. Waited till i could see it running behind the folder tab and eventually it forced the game into focus on its own. For some reason this doesn't cause it to freeze, but alt tabbing in or out will immediately. Then I went to graphic settings and changed some random setting so that config file gets recreated, opened task manager to quit the game, went into the new config and changed FULLSCREEN to BORDERLESS, and profit.
