With new version of ER you need bypass for regulation.bin limit introduced in 1.16 patch or you will have corrupted save error.
Options:
- Use Elden Ring Alt Saves - https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/2651 or
- Get .dll to bypass limitation from discord ?ServerName? > tools-and-resources > regbinmeme.dll
I'm no longer playing Elden Ring, and with limited time I don't have enough free time to work on this mod. 0.6.4 version is mostly untested but should work as eailer versions.
Gacha Ring and 101 Sorceries mods are integrated into this mod.
Some seeds (info on download page) are IMCO compatible. You will have to download IMCO from its mod page to get missing files for them.
Changes:
- Adds Diablo like loot (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
- Weapons can scale off different stats with a very rare chance of scaling with all stats.
- 4 types of armor on top on rarity (Physical, Magical, Rusted, Elden)
- Added 101 sorceries mod as new spells - spells are slightly altered for compatibility reasons.
Some spells may not work when charged or have diff effects with charged or have different behavior when using or not follow up attacks. Overall this is for player to learn how to use them effectivly. Icons are not ported. You can find them in vanilla spells places or as replacement of ashes of war in shops. Its random! Feedback needed. - Amount of effects on items - as of v0.6.0 - (about 101 unique effects) x (4 rarities scaling) x (can roll up to 3 effects on 1 armor piece), some effects can roll only on certain rarity
- Weapon upgrading up to +5
- Randomized stats of each item, even 2 of same type common daggers can roll different stats, ash of war and requiments
- Randomized lore on items (2nd iteration)
- 3x cost and 5x duration for casted buffs (some are still missing so its WIP)
- Gacha system - Wish at sites of grace
- Adjustment to difficulty, enemies have more hp and deal more dmg. They give a bit more exp. (Overall changes means that early stuff is little harder than vanilla, then its noticable harder past early areas but if you make some good build then at endgame game is easier than vanilla, also if you dont make any build at all and dont upgrade weapons then difficulty will get very hard rather fast. There is RNG loot, make use of it.
Also there is version without difficulty changes for more chill experience) - Shuffled spells and spirit ashes
- Shops sell some of randomized items instead of vanilla ones
- Ashes of war in shops are replaced by spells or random items
- Player respawn time is a random time of the day
- Bigger loot pools for enemies
and more rewards for exploring places, like finding a chest- it was flooding player inventory but feedback is welcome
Increased difficulty is balanced out by rng loot, so making some builds from loot should feel more rewarding.
Gatcha system is here to boost chances of getting loot - contains all rng loot + many ingame items to lower chance of getting best stuff too easly. Cost is 5k runes per wish. Also contains PurebloodKnight's Medal for those wanting to skip Varre Quest in offline. You can get the medal from certain shop in Liurnia as well but the price is quite high.
Twined set is not randomized anymore and remains at its default locations - for quest compatibility
Glintstone Crown - OLIVINUS and LAZULI - stay as default in their spots as well - for quest compatibility
Trailer:
Armor types:
PHYSICAL - Robust armor crafted by long forgotten smith that refused to put any magical protection enchantments of it (highest physical resistance and no magic resistance)
MAGICAL - Crafted by Renalla minions obsessed with magic resistances (highest magic resistance and no physical resistance)
RUSTED - Old armor left by the foot of Erdtree. Over time it's lost some of its physical protection and magical resistances but sap ozzling from Erdtree prevented it from total disintegration (low physical and magic resistance)
ELDEN - Armor worn by personal guardians of Queen Marika before shattering. It offers good protection versus all types of damage, but because of passing time its hard to find (high physical and magic resistance)
Rarity differences:
Weapons - Higher rarity gives more damage as expected, also available Ashes of War are based on rarity so higher rarity will have a chance to get more unique and powerful Ashes. Stones used to upgrade weapon are based on rarity tier of the item. Early game fully upgraded Common/Rare weapon may be stronger than +0 Legendary
Weapons with good rolls are marked by extra stars, * - max dmg roll, ** - max dmg roll +12% on top. Not restricted by rarity as of now.
Armors - Higher rarities offer better protection multiplier and offers a higher tier of effect. Like for example Common armor can have +1 STR and same effect on Legendary will be +5 STR. Some effects can roll only on the specific rarity of the item.
Armors have chance to have much higher defense at the cost of weight. Those are marked with *. Not restricted by rarity as of now.
Useful Info:
There are two loot distributions to play with:
- Targeted Loot - 1 item type per enemy, categorized by weapon type or armor tyle like MAGICAL. Contains file which shows what can drop from which enemy, its not perfect but hope it helps in finding what to kill to get what you want.
For example:
Weapon type: CURVED_GREATSWORDS[Leyndell Foot Soldier]
Means that vanilla drop of [Leyndell Foot Soldier] got filled with curved greatswords drops. It contains atleast 1 of each rarity and atleast 1/8 of whole loot pool is filled with legendaries. Some enemies can share loot pools and some enemies could drop more than 1 type of item. Also if enemy name appears more than 1 time its usualy mean that its different enemy in different place of map
You can always ignore drop list and look what drops from enemy, if that soldier drops common dagger then he also have in drop pool rare, epic and legendary dagger.
Feedback needed! - Randomized Loot - like in 0.2.2 BUT with equalized chance for different weapons so weapons like for example claws are as same abundant as straight swords, no extra loot file. Only weapon type with lowered chance to find is a torch.
- there is addition of some monsters dropping better loot:
Legendary and Epic only: Runebear, Monstrous dog, Monstrous crow, Omen monstrosity, Azula Beastman, Royal Revenant, Giant Lobster
Legendary only: Wormface, Monstrous rotten crow, respawnable Ancient Dragons
- there is addition of some monsters dropping better loot:
Settings:
- Balanced - all weapon types have same chance to be rolled, reduced by half chance for torches
- Golden - blessed by Erdtree itself - overrided cooldown for on hit effects to 5sec, they also can roll in all rarities, increased chance of multiple effects on single item, slight increase to Legendary drops. Increased difficulty.
Overall, this change allows for some sick builds but also makes the game easier. While the difficulty (as of 0.3.3) is increased in this mode it may still not be hard enough. - Distant - Lands between are full of ranged weapons, with this setting about 50% of all weapon are bows, crossbows, staffs and seals. This setting is perfect for run focused on bow or magic usage but you still will be able to get some melee weapons to support your build.
Important:
New AOE taunt also affects friendly NPCs! Be careful where you use it!
It's possible to change Ash of War only once! Best to keep original Ash of war on a weapon!
Ashes of war changing was removed in 0.3.3 - it was causing issues.
Loot drops from enemies:
Overall even with bigger pools of loot some items drop more often despite not being favored by % chance in settings so lets say if you grind on single enemy he may drop certain item much more often than some other ones in his pool. This seems like some game limitation.
Updating ongoing run from previous main versions like 0.2.x to 0.3.x will shuffle your items. If you decide to do so then its best to take all items off the character before updating!
Mixing different seeds from download will shuffle items too! High chance of weapon upgrades being resseted!
So overall i dont recommend swiching seeds midrun.
English only support.
If you find bug with something then post seed name and full name of item and ash of war if its weapon, it will speed up fixing an issue.
Error about corrupted save:
For those that try to load previous version of the save into modded updated version (doing ER version update directly with new mod version):
If you have corrupted save error while 1st time loading the game make sure you load to menu in unmodded latest version of ER atleast once. It should update save fire and then you can exit game and start modded one. After that it seems to work fine.
Favored stat for weapons:
Each weapon type have favored stat. That means it will most likely roll with scaling and requiments that include certain stat
(more info comming soon).
ERR - Elden Ring Reforged - compatibility patch:
If you have any issues with patch for ERR write it here in posts as this patch is not associated with official ERR support or ERR Discord so dont ask them for fixing issues caused by my patch.
Since my limited time, often ERR updates and currently not updated automated process of making patch I leave merging RNG Lands with ERR for the user. Use CSV files, import only loot part - look at DSMSPortable files to know which one to import. Then to make ERR work you need import missing files, one are statuses and other one are summons. Statuses are in download section and summons are from ItemLotParam_map (currently not updated) from ERR regulation.bin.

Some background:
This mod is heavly inspired by diablo and diablo style loot mod for ER. Orginal idea was to just make compatibility mod between diablo loot and other mods but i felt like i wont have enough controll over things to make it what i want.
Lraty helped me to get into modding and then i decided to try to write my own loot generator.
Limitation bypassed!
CSV import (v0.4.2 and v0.6.1):
This is for advanced users only!
You can import/merge my mod to any other mod manually or via provided DSMSPortable files.
If you just want to play my mod, then use prepared files. CSV imports while overall easy can be made wrong, or there may be compatibility issues somewhere. I will not debug those, so my support on merging with anything will be very limited as I simply don't have extra time and I'm providing working mod already.
There are no IMCO CSV files in there as you can get those from orginal mod. If you skip adding IMCO then other parts of mod will still work.
I was not sure about 101 sorceries CSVs but the are included coz i did overhaul them so there is no way in getting them for my mod in any other way.
This also mean you can import only 101 sorceries to some other spell overhaul and just use that and it should work....
You can also use those files to merge content with different language, but content will not be translated.
Uhhh i hestitated posting those files for quite the time. While i wanted to make tool that handles CSVs for the player i just dont have enough time to even think about it in 2023.
regulation.bin max allowed size is 4799KB
So if your new file is bigger then open it with something like DSMapStudio and export to CSV stuff with many rows with filled names like EquipParamWeapon, make the name blank field in that file and import it again with blank name fields, this should reduce the size of the file.
NG+
IF you are going for NG+ and want to reshuffle items on enemies and places you can import those:
ItemLotParam_enemy.csv
ItemLotParam_map.csv
This will keep your items but will break loot distribution logic and reshuffle items but for NG+ its not that big of an issue as your character is probably very strong already.
I would like to thanks mod creators:
Lraty - for making Gacha Ring
nacorcb - for making Improved Melee Combat Overhaul (IMCO)
CornflakeRush - for making Diablo Style Loot
Rusty - for making 101 Sorceries
Support:
I'm quite busy with real life stuff so I don't have that much time to work on this mod so taking donations doesn't exactly feel right atm.
