Hi! Thank you for the mod! If you dont mind i ask... you said that you swap, but is mesh and texture? And you need to apply anything more? I ask, because one time i took DS1 Weapon, from a overhoul mod, and i could put the model on skyrim. Asking if is the same can be done to Elder ring... And need to rig anything, or edit the mesh... If can be done, i could try to do the Mirror Shield, from N64 Ocarine of Time.
With the weapon mods it’s basically just mesh and texture and making sure it’s in the right position (so the player is grabbing it where he should). No skeletons on these. Armor mods do need skeleton setup properly and are a little more involved. The main difference between ER and Skyrim is it’s just a lot more steps with having to use flver editor, pointing your textures to the right place and yabber to unpack/repack the dcx and the tpf. Hope that helps man. I linked a video I followed in my other comment and feel free to DM me if you need help.
Hey I was not sure how to contact you in any other way but would like to know how you replaced objects with new models in the game. I tried going online to find out but its just people talking about installing mods not creating them.
Hey dude. I couldn’t find any info on Elden Ring modding either but it’s basically the same as other fromsoftware games. I followed this video for DS3: https://youtu.be/C605dSYt6hc Only things I noticed that are different: - I had to do the opposite of what he does in the video when attaching the .flver file he created to the existing one. I found that gave me issues so instead I had to attach the existing flver to the new one. Hope that makes sense. - Had to mess around with the specular/metallic texture so that the shield had the right level of shininess. - Had to change the material path to not have invisibility issues with spell effects. Hope that helps bro! Feel free to DM me if you have any troubles.
<3 There’s a master sword on here already but I might make my own version since there’s a clipping issue with where you grab the sword on that one. Is there anything else you’d want to see?

Is there a resource to find out the correct IDs for the models that I can use?
