As the installation guide says all files need to be in the same folder, doesn't matter where, you can put them all into the Game folder if u want. according to this u need to edit the config_eldenring.toml.
Brooo thanksss. For anyone who cant seem to get it to work, try this method.
I followed author's installation instructions but my game wont even run. I have Defuckenated mod installed so I thought maybe they cant coexist but when I tried this method, my game finally runs. Mod also works flawlessly
Hi, I managed to make it work. What you need to do is take the questlong_lang folder, the erquestlog.dll and the erquestlog.ini files from the zip of the DLL version and put them into [Your ERR folder] -> dll -> active
Once you put all three files in there, when you run ERR again you should be able to see the "ongoing quests" options at the grace, it even comes with an icon matching the other ERR icons, which is really nice.
Hi! thanks for reply. I placed files you are mentioned to the right place and according to log script it works but I dont see any new option in grace menu.
Some UI changes made in a recent version of ERR made this mod malfunction. It works in the background but the UI won't display the necessary menu. Either ERR or this mod need an update.
@yokosukarobin Mod Engine is already bundled with Reforged, so I don't understand what you're saying with this. Reforged automatically updates its own toml file once the .dll is located in the dll/active folder.
if you're having issues using the elden mod loader version like i was, just download the "More Options At Site of Grace (MOASG)" mods "MOASG_QuestLog" file and it will work. no need to do anything else but install that one by itself. it has this mod included with it. go to "more options" in the grace game menu and youll see ur quests listed there. cheers! :)
Hey! Would it be possible to add an OPTIONAL setting to make all the quest steps visible in the questlog menu? Currently, the menu lets you see what was the last thing you did in a questline, but if I don't remember what the next step was, I'm still forced to look it up on the wiki. I'd love to just check it in-game and see where I have to go next from there. I want it to be an optional setting, since there are bound to be people who would not want that

The files are in the following folder on my PC.
D:\...\ELDEN RING\Game\mod\questlog\
config_eldenring.toml edited
external_dlls = [
"mod\\questlog\\erquestlog.dll",
]

Example:

Hope this helps a bit.

If this mod doesn't work, you may have a problem with inserting erquestlog.dll.
Copy and paste it and it will work in 1.16.
Uses Mod Engine2
1. Open config_eldenring.toml in full screen with Notepad
2. Insert "erquestlog.dll", at the end of the 14th line from the top.
# external_dlls = [ "coolmod.dll", "D:\\nicemods\\nicemod.dll", "sosofolder\sosomod.dll" ]
external_dlls =[ ]
↓
# external_dlls = [ "coolmod.dll", "D:\\nicemods\\nicemod.dll", "sosofolder\sosomod.dll" ]
external_dlls = ["erquestlog.dll",]
Then it will be displayed in the game(1.16).
Please try it if you have time.

or any solutions?
I have to install the 3 files
Questlog_lang
erquestlog.dll
erquestlog
into the ''mod'' files of ModEngine--2.1.0.0
and after that just launch the game with the
''launchmod_eldenring''
But when i do that nothing work.... im a bit lost ^^'
