Could you upload your save file as an alternative too? I tried following the images but it didn't look like your picture. It'd be easier for me if I could just copy the save file with your configurations.
Having the save file with convergence doesn't matter. You can still import the respective save, convert it as such to fit if you are using it with vanilla (.sl2), or with mods and other combos with seamless (.co2, or whatever the extension is set to). You could also add a warning that the save file is while using convergence only, so caution should be taken if those who wanted to try and use it who'd need the appropriate tools to convert it.

It's possible since its release, it's outdated from the reg.bin file it's associated with. The original would have to be updated.
Otherwise the second possibility would be because the file was copied incorrectly/save manager was outdated? I could be wrong, as this could also present an error with a corrupted save file.
The fact the guy uploaded a mod with a page written in full english but didn't bother to upload the pics in english is so funny and should've kept it from getting even one single endorsement, especially with all the dozens of replies asking him to post the pics in english he ignored because he doesn't give a f*ck lmao
The preset is really cute but the chinese makes it hard to copy it from the images and the save only work for Convergence mod.
The solution is using Elden Ring Save transfer 1.1, transfer the save from Convergence to Vanilla, load the game and go to the appearance mirror and save the preset into your favorites (make sure to do it while offline just in case), after that just delete the save, the preset will be still in your favorites.
Yeah... I tried. I can't get my characters look like the preset no matter what I do. There's no way getting over the language barrier since the pictures are disorganized instead of being in order. I hope we can get a version of the images with english text, but I don't know if the uploader is still around to update or if they'll even want to.

I know it's free and everything but could you at least change the game to english or something so that we can actually copy that? Or, enumerate the pictures by the character creation or something.
I translated the game to Japanese to see if I could match the symbols but they are not the same.
Followed the instructions perfectly, even went as far as to manually translate all the images. Convergence mod must do something differently (Particularly for the hair) as there are options and missing sliders in that location. I also don't see the character template used for the character along with some other options, so that may be why others (And myself) are following the instructions to the nose and still not seeing the character shown in the screenshots. Any chance we can get the full?

you can just sort the images by name and don't need to read the letters
