Tested and retested to rule out my own error.
The helm included in the download is the intended mod. The BD, and LG, are seemingly not modded at all.
The AM, I cant really tell what, if anything has changed about them. If i had to guess, there may have been a hiccup when organizing everything before uploading. It happens to the best of us. Big Boy Lionel is an absolute favorite, and it brought me no end of joy to find someone obviously skilled took the time to make him look just right! It's super cool man. Please Re-up correction tho? He's the perfect addition.

I'm thankful for the praise, but sorry to tell you that I'm a little stumped on this. I downloaded it from the site again and it worked just fine when I put it into the game. I also got another guy from discord to test it on his computer with the same results.

That said, I just I uploaded an optional file that also includes the low-poly meshes of the set (or rather, the same ones with _l in their name for the game to use as low poly). My original upload left those unchanged. As far as I know the game only uses those for phantoms and such, not the player, but maybe try using that one to see if it makes a difference.
I've also heard several people talk about ray-tracing causing problems with modded gear, although it seems to be shading issues rather than entire missing pieces. Still, if you've got it enabled, it might be worth checking what happens if you disable it.
And I realise this is like asking if you've tried turning it off and on again, but does this problem still happen when you run elden ring with ONLY this mod enabled? It could be compatibility issues or another mod taking priority.

And the last thing I can even think of is that the main .rar includes a folder named "Lionel's armor - redone", and inside that is the "parts" folder that the game is actually looking for. Depending on the specific launcher you use, you might have to get rid of this intermediary "Lionel's armor - redone" folder for the game to even recognise that you put a mod in it. But that's probably reaching, since apparently some of the pieces did work for you.

As for the AM, all I did was desaturate and darken the padding on the palms to keep it consistent with the changes I made to the other pieces. By itself it's not very noticeable.

You friend, are a Legend! I figured after all the testing, it may still wind up having been some small Occam's razor thing I was glossing over. Odd's are I probably forgot to re-run the low poly model fixer. I'm using modengine2, and the parts folders are in the correct places for both the pc's and the steam decks. We've been running a tiny Elden Ring Seamless Co-Op "Lan party" at my apartment once or twice a week.

Can you make the response a sticky? This way, if anyone else has the same issue i did they can immediately find the well detailed answer you provided. You really did cover everything, and it's definitely appreciated! Thank you! 😁

It's a Great Épée, the same weapon that Lionel uses. It's not from any mods.

How hard would it be to make a version without the boot spurs?

I thought this set was unsalvageable... until now.

    AMAZING job with the rework!

    Damn, this is neat
  9. Damn, imagine being better designer than fromsoft... seriously, just few relatively small changes, and now it both looks better, clips less and even conveys Lionel character better
