    Shoot, I think I cancelled my comment by accident, if not, sorry about the spam;
Hi! I've been trying to replace a weapon to the game and it seems I can't import it very well, the scale, position and rotation is always off and the model disappears when I attack. By any chance did you encounter the same problems? ¿May I ask how do you manage to import your weapons? My method was to use Flver_Editor to replace one sword with mine, but I don't really know what else should I config to have it properly imported.

Hello Yogensya, thank you for your hard work. I want to mod a great sword from a Fate game to Elden Ring. If you could make a tutorial how to mod character appearance Elden Ring, it'll be great help because there aren't any tutorials on Youtube :(. I've seen your Dark Sould 3 Tutorial below but I think Elden Ring still need other tuts. glad to meet you

May I add you in Discord. My id : Mundus#9350

Hi, the tutorial I linked below isn't mine, it's from a user called Scrub. From what I hear he does intend to make some ER tutorials so you may want to subscribe to his channel ;) If you check his channel you can find his discord server as well.

For now I have something in mind related to FFVII that is not the Buster Sword, that's all I'll say for now ;)

There's a Gut's Dragon Slayer already as well if I recall correctly!

Yes there's one already but the texture still not that great not about to complain about someone's effort but just wondering if there's someone out there that could make one that's looks really good.

I could recommend a tutorial like this to get acquainted with the tools needed to mod souls games.

While it's for DS3, and you have to do a few different things for models in Elden Ring, it's a good reference tutorial. Or you can wait for his ER model tutorial. Good luck!

I guess I will just wait for someone to make this mod because once I put model I flver the sword literally falls apart...

Hi! Yeah I know, I mentioned this in the known issues section. I left the scabbard in because the looked nice but they are original from the game and different size. You can always use D-Pad left to hide your second blade when not using it, sorry!

Sorry but I only have plans to add it to some other katana so that they can be dual wielded and move to another weapon, as recompiling to a different sword takes quite a few steps. :(

gotcha. I presume you'll still have to disable easy anti-cheat for this with modengine right?

According to the included readme, it takes care of EAC as well:

If you've installed mods with the original mod engine for Sekiro or DS3, Mod Engine 2 installation should be somewhat similar.
However, while Mod Engine 1 was a dinput8.dll file that you had to copy to the game directory, Mod Engine 2 is a standalone
utility with a custom game launcher and does not have to be installed in the game directory. If your game is installed via
Steam, all you need to do is extract the Mod Engine 2 distribution wherever you want, copy your modded files into the "mod"
directory, and double-click "launchmod_eldenring.bat" and the game will automatically be launched with Mod Engine 2 injected.
This includes the game launching with EAC disabled so you can play with mods offline with no fear of being banned.

But I don't see any reason to stop using other methods for disabling EAC like in the past if you want some extra peace of mind. :)

Super cool.  May I ask what software you used to pull this off?  Blender or something?

I use 3ds Max for modelling and Substance Painter for texturing, but this could have been modelled in Blender just the same!
