      I tried making it in black myself but it has a blue-ish outline.  Really awkward. Not sure how to fix it.

      The blue outline/shine to it is to do with the actual matbin file, you need to edit the material colour itself in the xml file to fix the blue

    Could you keep the leather parts of the skirt the same color as the original so it still matches the carian knight gloves? Your version is a lot lighter.
