would it be possible to get a version that has the ranni model attached to the raging wolf helm and thus make it so you can have it without a regulation bin possibly?
I couldn't find a solution to my problem, I scrolled through all the comments and found nothing, the problem is that the mod works, but it's crooked, I have calibration version 1.13.1 and game versiom 1.16, Rannie's hair is in front of the player, and the body is separated from the hair and it is behind the player rotated 90 degrees. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Hey! Just writing to say that I was tinkering in the smithbox stuff, Ranni is able to also be put on a 'bolt' if you don't wanna sacrifice seeing a staff or other weapon! the 909-992 codes don't put her in the right position at ALL, but ill post em if i figure em out. Likewise, if someone else can figure out the needed numbers for when she's attached to a bolt and post them before me, that would be amazing!

Edit: only minutes after posting, i am realizing that the 901-992 numbers might not work simply because theyre listed as 'left'/'right'/'both' hands in the params
The 909-992 is the Sheath Position ID which is set in the skeleton for the base game. Each number contains it's own position, rotation and scale, so it's safe to say simply changing it to any other number would not work.
Ive unfortunately come to the same conclusion it would have been perfect if it had worked on a bolt slot lol or even a head equipment, but the values and ID's are different from weapons and armour

You would need to find the weapon part I'd of the weapon you want and change the name of the two files in the parts folder to the weapon part I'd you'd prefer. Then you need to use Smithbox to select the parameter called EquipParamWeaponband change one of the variables
Are there only certain weapons and or items that this will work on? I changed the file name to what I would like it to be on (which is the buckler shield) and this causes the model to be up in the air

this worked one time, but when I started the game the next time, rannis model was all over the place, and I couldnt get it fixed, even after doing a clean reinstall, and using this same link again lol
I downloaded it but the model is still flying and I do not know how to use smithbox or any of this stuff for that matter to changet he paramaters to match my character

I adjusted the mesh file "c0000.chrbnd.dcx" to offsets the position, so that Ranni doesn't floating above you. And use Elden Resizer to resize Ranni, since I couldn't scale down Ranni model by editing the mesh file. I also turn off ranni's glowing hands and her hair while one handed. (Updated:18/11/2024)
I changed Ranni into the Finger Seal, because it's easier to obtain in a play through.

Open SmithBox and Create Project. Enter Any Project Name, Select Anywhere you prefer as Project Directory, Select Game Executable go to Elden Ring Root folder, then select the eldenring.exe Example : Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\eldenring.exe
Go to Param Editor tab. Find the same Params at left column, then select EquipParamWeapon. Select Data > Import CSV > From file... > All fields Select EquipParamWeapon.csv, Open.
Do the same procress for WepAbsorpPosParam as well.
Go to Files, Save All Modified Params.
Done ! You install the mod correctly.

This may occur due to the Weapon Sheath Position ID bugs, the only solution that I could think of: - Go to EquipParamWeapon, at the Rows column, Search for 34000000 Finger Seal - from the Fields column "Weapon Sheath Position ID", change it to 52 "Miquella On Tanished" - Load the game, see if it fixes, If so, keep it in 51, although I'm not sure change it back to 63 will cause the same or not.
If that doesn't fix it, please give me more information to see how could I help you with.
I'm not interested in making miquella on tarnished, but I could help you figure out yourself. If you haven't got miquella works normally (like flowing beside or separated), simply follow the instruction above. this method required miquella is normally on top but slightly flowing on top of your character. 1. download any tool that could modify .dcx file to offsets miquella's position (I forgot what tools I used, so better for one as you would need to adjust the mesh.) 2. open smithbox to find Weapon Sheath Position ID 52 Miquella On Tanished, you can look for the 901 to 999 numbers, those are the slot that the model use in-game. 3. open up the mesh tool and look for the slot number earlier, then adjusted those slot position via the mesh tool, after that fire up your game and see the changes, repeat this process to you liking. I don't recommend adjust the scale which cause the mesh disappear in game, using resizer to scale it would also works. hope this would help :)
I'm having the same issue with Ranni's position. I changed the ID to 52 (miquella on tarnished) and 61 (melina on tarnished) and it didn't change. Is it something to do with the ID numbers that are 900-999, (aka the numbers in the WepAbsorpPosParam)?
I updated the zip file now contains the regulation.bin file see if it helps. I've try to fresh install but I couldn't encounter this bug again, I not sure what causes this bug from happend. btw, I also turn off ranni's glowing hands and her hair while one handed.
Could you provide how you install the mod in details, I hasn't encounter this when I fresh install the mod. Perhaps download the original mod file and use chr folder only would work...
Have an issue where even after setting model[1] to 909 her glowing hands nor the hair appears. It doesnt even appear normally with 2 weapons. Any solution?
Worked and then it didn't. Was playing equipped it saw it all worked unequipped as I just plan to fight dlc final boss with it. Re-equipped later to see how it looked with a new armour set I thought looked good (only thing that had changed I hadn't even closed the game or saved and exited at this point) now shes clipping into my body. Frankly don't care enough to seek out a fix just thought I'd share my issue with others.

Can anyone here or the mod author make a version with Ranni sitting on the tarnished' left or right shoulder in her sitting position like when we first meet her and she gives us the summoning bell. Resizing her into a smaller doll.(as if we had a living small ranni doll perched on our shoulders).
