If you are Dumb like me and do not know how to use mod Loaders, just change the name of the file to "ZAutoRecovery" and the mod will be the last to be loaded (of course, if you do not have a mod that starts with Z too). Then you can use Reforged Laucher and the Autorecovery mod will work since Reforged Laucher filters alphabetically wich mod will be loaded first
i tried both folders, the only consisten way to get it to load is to do fresh unzips of the ERR mod in its entirety, it always loads fine the first time, then doesnt work on any subsequent load's,
The code you can see in this PR fixes the issue where DLLs based on TechieW's work do not play nice with ModEngine2 and cause "Could not find signature" issues. You may want to implement these changes in your mod as well.
This mod is amazing. Anyway you could add or create a separate mod that increases discovery? I love this game, but hate grinding for weapons and armor. Anything to make the game less grindy is great.
I keep getting this error saying "Could not find signature" for both this mod and another dll mod that I have. I have no idea where I'm messing up as the mods were working fine about an hour ago, then the game crashed and they now the mods don't work.
The game works fine, but I wanted to try out these mods.
im having the same issue but the OP wont say anything about it despite responding to other's posts's, so im unsure if he can fix it, is willing to fix it, or even care's, since ive gotten no responses on the subject, theres even been updates since i brought this up, so who knows at this point,
So it turns out this is due to loading more than 1 DLL mod at once. Remove ALL the dll files from ERR/dll/active EXCEPT this mod's DLL, then it will work. You can keep any other folders or txt files inside there, just make sure AutoRecovery Dll is the only thing inside and it should work...
Easiest fix for this is to make sure that this dll is loaded last. You can have as many dll mods as you want (I currently have transmogrify, Seamless Coop, Glorious merchant and this mod) as long at the autorecovery.dll is loaded last in the order
Hi! Can confirm loading this DLL LAST (in the config.toml file, Mod Engine2) will allow the mod to function. I had the issue as well, "COULD NOT FIND SIGNATURE" pop up when launching the game. Im using several mods with DLLs all run through ME2. I opened the config.toml file with NotePad++ and of course listed the DLLs in use in my game, made sure that this mod's DLL filename is listed LAST. Boom, opened and tested thoroughly on a late game save as well as a new game save :3 All good!

Edit: Figured it out, if you load using Elden mod loader it creates a config file.
You are welcome
:)
In this case add the file do the reforged DLL folder
I BUT 2 FILE AUTORECOVER.DLL --- to
--Elden Ring\Game\dll\active
--ELDEN RING\Game\internals\modengine\dll
--Elden Ring\Game\internals\modengine\dll
to fake signature :D
remove it and lauch game reforged
close game and coppy erd back , that make game signed =]]]]]
