This mod didn't work for me at all, but I've made something like this for myself in the past. I play with the No Compass mod and removing the summon sign can be done the same way in the same file... i.e. 01_000_fe.gfx Using JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler, the Summon Sign is under DefineSprite (481: _01_000_FE_fla.Timeline_174) ... then Frame 1 > PlaceObject2 (478) Depth: 26 (StandbyIcon) ...
Over on the right hand side, opening the "matrix" section and changing the X and Y coordinates to something ridiculous (like 30000) allows the icon to be moved off the screen, effectively removing it.
I've just confirmed it works that way.
Can't share the file since I modified the one released in the No Compass mod... but in case anyone has difficulty getting this one to work, that would be the method I used.
My DefineSprite 481 looks like this.. am I looking in the wrong spot? img
Ah. They might have moved it since I made my last post. I know updates sometimes change which number you have to find, so it might not be 481 any more. However, the other stuff like "frame 1 (normal)" and the 5 objects called Base / GaugeList / ItemIcon / StandbyIcon / ItemName should remain the same.
Sorry, it has been half a year since I last tampered with this, so I don't remember it well any more.
