sad to see Loretta's Slash still strict to polearms here, wanted to use it on a greatsword, I have the "unlocked ashes of war" mod, but the skill doesn't do any damage when put on a greatsword.. couldn't fix it with smithbox either.. sad
still, thanks for this mod, I'm sure I'll be useful
BTW, what would happen if I merge this mod with the "unlocked ashes of war" I mentioned?

It would be pointless to merge the two because Unlocked Ashes of War does the same thing as this mod, but bulk-enables all Ashes of War on all weapon types. My mod adds Ashes of War to weapons in a more select way, heavily tested for compatibility and usefulness. Mine's designed with normal playthroughs in mind.

That's not an Ash of War; it's a unique Skill. You can modify weapons individually to give it to them without having to create a new Ash of War item to acquire like the base-game ones, but I don't even know if any other weapons would be compatible with it due to the way stuff like iframe data and hitboxes on animations work.

Just so I'm not mistaken while trying to merge this. My Smithbox Params column is lit up with tons of green Params. Are all these changes across different sections of the config part of this mod?

The only Params this mod changes are EquipParamGem and EquipParamWeapon.

Got it, I checked back to the first one you uploaded. It had those 2 params you mentioned in CSV files. I figured those should be the ones

Wow great mod! thx for it, is there a possibility to allow all katanas to use Witching Hour Slash?

      Thanks.
Witching Hour Slash isn't an Ash of War, so no. You can set it as the default Weapon Skill for whatever katana you want it on in Smithbox, though. It's pretty easy to do.

    Hey brother,
    I love your mod.
is there any chance I could contract you to merge your regulation bin with this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/4524

Don’t mind sending compensation for asking you to mod.

I'm must clicking through your mods now and found this jewel here and THAT is a fine work!
Just today I thought, wtf is this with whips only having these 4 holy, 2 electric and 1 magic AoW?
LoL I just did read about the whips ;(

Since I tested around a bit, why is "Black Flame Tornado" not available for Colossal weapons?
Also it seems I can't merge your Ballanced Buff Durations mod, with this mod here?
I used the "Mod Merger" tool from this site here:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/5441?tab=posts&BH=1

And I have a question, I hope it's fine to bother you with it. Could you pllsssss make a mod, which adds visuals to the weapons with enchanted affinity elements, like fire, poison, blood, flame, magic, lightning, cold and holy.
That would be sooo cool and I think a lot of people would appreciate that too! :)

      Thank you.
I didn't want to put Black Flame Tornado on Colossal Weapons because I think it looks goofy to have very large weapons spinning around so quickly as they do with Black Flame Tornado.
I'm not sure why the Mods Merger wouldn't be working. I've merged those two mods together with it before. Make sure each mod is in its own folder or zip file before dragging them into the Merger. If not then I could slap together a merge for you.
If you like both of those mods, I recommend you try my overhaul mod, as it includes both of them in it as core features.
As for the affinity element visuals, it would be possible to make, but it would require a LOT of work (several days worth of constant work, at least), and I wouldn't want to do it as I wouldn't want to play with it, as I think that having visual buff effects on weapons when using things like greases, Flaming Strike, Lightning Slash etc is very cool and an important gameplay feature when using weapon buffs.

Yea that makes sense, could look goofy. After I wrote the comment, I tested the Black Same Tornado on the Brick Hammer and that already looked goofy xD
But it had a sort of Thor look and I loved that haha

I'm going to look at your mod right now!
But how to do it correctly is what I rather want, since It helps me with all mods.
I'm basically doing it as you described, I've put both folders of your mods into the "ModsToMerge" folder, minus the txt files (these don't do anything for the process I think?) and then I merged it and put it into the mods folder of ModEngine2.
But the Buffed durations mod, didn't work for me after that.
I figured it out, idk what the hell I did, but surely not merging lol
Now after carefully reading the instructions and also providing the program the needed paths, everything works as fine as intended..

Because of affinity affects. Yea it's definitely a personal preference. I for myself feel like losing out on something, when you for example do have any non-selfinflicting affinity that you listed, on your weapon, like Frost Stomp, since you can't inflict the weapon with frost, it will stay a normal blade, still having frost or magical extra damage. That's what's bothering me :)

Yea that sounds like it'll be a lot of work lol, I just asked you, because you seem to be very competent and eager on creating mods :D

Thank you a lot for answering my matters!

The ModsToMerge folder isn't supposed to be in your game install folder. It's created by the Mods Manager when you add mods to it to merge.
You're supposed to open the program and drag&drop mod archives or folders into it.
And you're not supposed to put all of the files from different mods into the same folder, either. You leave them in separate folders and put those folders into the Mods Manager and hit merge.

Oh you already answered me. Sorry for all the messages lately.
Yes, I now do it the right way, I really have no clue what the hell I did before and how even a regulation.bin came out of it.
Before I've created a "ToBeMerged" and "MergedMod" folder myself I think, at the same location as the .exe of this programm..
And then I've put the regulation.bin files I wanted to merge, into the corresponding folder and ran the process lol
Now I now, that there wasn't even a merge process running.. I somehow even didn't read all the errors..
and IDK why, but at the "MergedMod" folder I got a new regulation.bin lol

But now it's working and I merged your wonderful Buff duration and Ash of War mod with the Sekiro mod and the Reballanced Talsiman mod AND IT WORKS!!!! Even tho the Talisman mod is outdated.
      I'm blasted!!!! :D
      I freaking love it :D

So i didnt go through the whole detail list but is it in essence that its an all ash of war mod available on any weapon and then new ash of wars? or is it most ash of wars on different weapons and new ash of wars?

No. This isn't an "all Ash of War on every weapon" mod. It just expands the options that each weapon type has access to.
There are no new Ashes of War added in this mod.
