Make sure the game app version and calibration match with the mod version.
Item description works only with English language.
Follow in the DESCRIPTION guide how to install the mod and use the download link for modengine.
Download the modengine from github, install it as I've installed it, unpack the mod into the mod folder in modengine folder
(mod/chr etc., not mod/Summon All My Waifus/chr), run the launchmod_eldenring.bat file, which contains:
    chcp 65001
:: The above line is necessary in case you edit this file to lead to a path with Unicode characters.
    .\modengine2_launcher.exe -t er -c .\config_eldenring.toml
otherwise you're not running mods properly, you're only using the regulation.bin besides maybe dll mod files.
You do not use modengine2_launcher.exe to run the game with mods.

If you crash when summoning ranni, then disable raytracing.

For seamless spirit summoning fix when using the spirit bell animation.
If you want to merge the seamless speffect 2147300000 into your c0000 file.
Make a smithbox project with your c0000 file (you don't import/open it, you put it in the chr folder in the project folder), then use the screenshot above to see what to edit (the screenshot is not in the posts, scroll above).
And then just save selected tae or modified tae (seems modified tae saving was fixed at some point, before it saved every chr tae). If the "save selected tae" saving crashes smithbox, you can just put a chr folder and the c0000 file into the game folder. "save "modified" aka all" will prolly crash smithbox if you don't have all chr files in the game folder.

You can give suggestions how many times to increase the mesmer and rellana health, or maybe try to increase their defenses, aka healing is more potent with a smaller health pool.

Also will adjust the summon spot for them.

You can give other suggestions, in terms of combat or traversal.

I think I managed to increase Messmer and Rellana's health, I tried them at +2 but they died from just 1-2 mob attacks lol, after this they were fine.
I gave Messmer 1950 HP, and Rellana 1930

I'll prolly increase their defenses at some point, will see about health.
Anyway as you posted you made a edit yourself.
I'll be waiting till next patch comes out, or if more peeps want a less squishier variant.

    Please help me.
I installed the mods as instructed, but running modengine2_launcher.exe doesn't work.
If I put the files from ME2 in the Game folder, running the modengine2_launcher.exe will crash.

Read the first post again. (The red text and the green text)
Or read the description section part where I show how it's installed and how to run it.
I never told to use the exe file.

Also use fresh save files first, backup your old ones. Never use modded save files when you go back to vanilla game.

Disable raytracing if you crash while trying to summon Ranni.

Also verify your game files and remove any files besides ME2 from the game folder that aren't part of the vanilla game.
And make sure you don't have any wrong files in the ME2 folder.
And unpack this mod only into the "mod" folder or whatever you named your mod folder, don't put anything into "ME2/modengine2" folder.

I'd love it if you could merge the resummon feature with convergence especially since the necromancer is completely broken in seamless coop for it, as it stands it works with convergence rn but breaks ashe's of war , ~i'd do it myself but yapped does not work on linux

Why are you using yapped, people use smithbox.
Yapped is outdated and should not be used for anything, unless you use an outdated game with outdated mods.

      https://www.reddit.com/r/EldenRingMods/comments/1dqaj8i/psa_stop_using_yapped_and_yabber/

If you only want the resummon, look at the picture section and the last one and read the 2nd stickied post.
If you want to use it in another mod that has their own c0000 file, then you modify their c0000 file with smithbox, also you need to unpack c0000 with uxm, or you can fake it by putting in the game folder the same c0000 file, like uxm would unpack it in the same folder structure style. If their mod doesn't use c0000, then you can download what I have.

If you want to merge stuff, you do it yourself. I started and stopped at this mod, because I saw how bad the merging for fromsoftware games is, when it comes to anything else than regulation.bin file or text files merging. Took also a long time before you could export only modified text and import only the modified text. Regulation.bin still has its issues when it comes to straight merging, so you have to export first one by one, and then import one by one, instead of just merging bins with each other, as that can break stuff, got bored having to fix thousands of lines, the first time I tried straight bin merging.

Is it possible to edit their names? I like the possibility of travelling with NPCs but I tried summoning Melina and I didn't like the "my waifu" part. I want them too keep me company but I'm not a simp

Also, Melina's Erdtree spell causes performance issues during intence fights even though my machine is very strong and I play on maximum settings. I know this isn't your fault but it's just a badly optimized effect, but would it be possibly to take away the spell from Melina in your mod? Didn't test the others yet

    Thanks

      UPD:

From what I've tested, they don't seem to follow me through the fog doors. It's not like I needed their help anyway, but still, it's a shame that they don't

Edit the text file with smithbox, or get the merge file and edit the merge file manually, you can use the search feature with your notepad or word or whatever, and then merge it with the text file.

About the fog wall thing, only if you know how to make them work like npc summons that you find in the world to summon.
Have not messed with them, so don't know how they behave. That's how it works in base game.
Also, you can just desummon and resummon, if the option disappears quit game or rest/teleport, if you're using seamless co-op, get the seamless co-op resummon file, though it works only when using the spirit bell animation to summon.

In terms of performance, it doesn't matter with this game how good your pc is, the engine can't keep up with loads of spells.
If it is your machine, disable raytracing that will drop your pc/engine performance by 2x (or more, hard to know because fps locked to 60) after 30 minutes of playtime, depends though what you're looking at and from where you're looking at, while toggling raytracing off and on fixes it, but the problem comes back.
If you though can get better performance by lowering game settings while the spells are active, then no, you don't have a good pc. (raytracing being an exception, it prolly is borked because the in game engine is limited to 3GB vram, I've tried increasing it 3x, but that caused a crash, but haven't tested lower amounts with raytracing).

Only if you alter the "1250" part files.
1250 corresponds to the outfit that is changed out with the custom ranni model.
You can try some other ranni mods and use their part files.
But you would also have to adjust the outfits "masking" toggle (0/1) accordingly for that 1250 outfit.
One of the sexy bikini ones, sadly the modder put the entire model into every body part file, so even if you for example change out only 1 thing out, it will give you a full model instead so you have to waste time messing with the masking to fix it, if it's even possible.

So I've added your mod and merged the reg.bin with DMN's. Interestingly, DMN loads, the spirit names are replaced ('Doll of my Waifu Ranni' etc) but the models and animations Aren't loaded. I've triple checked the folder structure and that's all good. Any ideas why the reg.bin seems to load, my other mods (with no conflicting files) load - but the spirits' models and animations do not load?

How are you launching the mod?
      Check the first stickied post.

If you did your own merging.
Try first just with my regulation.bin and the parts folder for malenia and ranni, script for malenia, chr for malenia, msg for eng text.

If you get it running without merging, then you'll know if you did something wrong with merging.

You'll have to do it for every FP Cost and HP cost line for every summon ash 1-10
      Spoiler:
      Show

The way to do it for everything easily is with mass edit.
Click a row in EquipParamGoods so the fields show up.
Select all the Rows in EquipParamGoods with Ctrl+A.
Right click FP Cost (consumeMP) then choose the bottom option Mass Edit and click Manually.
And enter in the above box selection:
      selection: consumeMP: = 1
      selection: consumeHP: = -1
Click Submit, it will tell you how many cells were affected and what it did change, if it was done correctly.

You can also easily use this to reset selected rows to vanilla regulation.bin values, the one in game folder.

Thank you very much for your reply‼
I was confused because I was looking at the rows of ashes before they were changed to dedicated items.
I learned a lot about how to edit in bulk.
But the consumption is still high. I'm using CONVERGENCE.
I don't understand why only Waifus can avoid this.

      Did you check the picture?
Did you save all modified after modifying all rows
Also, if you have "modified" for the rows selected, ctrl+a only selects what is modified.

I checked the image, changed it to FP Cost 1, HP Cost -1 and saved it.
In addition to Waifus, I set values for ashes with a changed NPC and for the default ashes, but the consumption remains high.
Are there any other places that specify the consumption amount for Sprit Summon?

      No, that's the only place.

Just for test purposes EquipParamGoods 232010 to 232010
Change the Icon Id to 12 for all ten of those rows.
And show in the game what does Ranni and Melina summon item icon look like.

Oh my goodness, there is a (DLC) after the normal Sprit Summon, and when I corrected these values, the consumption was reduced!
Now I can summon my friends without worrying about HP.
Thank you for helping me. I'm happy thanks to this mod.

-it worked! I just copied the folders inside my "mod" folder
then imported all the .CSV files from "csv jsontext", with Smithbox into my regulation.bin
-Melina is ok, but Ranni is too OP, I tried her around Raya Lucaria and she's spamming spells like crazy, melting all enemies, while I can barely hit a few of them lol (I should have tested her on base level, and not upgrade her to +2 inmediately).. also, they seem to have too much HP
-btw, the names above their HP bar appear as "noble sorcerer", "skeletal bandit", etc. can I change that with smithbox?
thanks for the great mod ^^

Unpack the game with uxm, maybe you don't have to, you can try without this step.
Make a project, close smithbox, put your item_dlc02.msgbnd in the project folder like this msg/engus/item_dlc02.msgbnd
If you don't have that file, then just use what is in this mod, if you don't use non-conflicting files, then you don't get said features.
      Then open the project.
Then go to "text editor" tab.
If you can use the data tab above to import and export use that, but for me it crashed for some reason.
Also don't use the text files window to export stuff, it will not export stuff properly, it only shows titles and will only export titles, and
probably only will import replace titles.
The way I use to import and export is by right clicking the selection in files tab or text entries window.
So for you just select english us "item" in "files" windows, if you hover over it you can see the source file you're editing, then right click it, then choose import text - replace and choose waifus or choose from external files and find the waifus.json that I uploaded in the merge file.
It should now have replaced only the stuff this mod uses in terms of text files.
Then to save it, select "file" tab, and choose "save all modified text".

When you're merging mods, first make sure what files are conflicting or not.
You only try to merge conflicting files and/or rename them and also in the regulation.bin.
Everything else not conflicting, you just use them as is, otherwise you're missing stuff.

finally did it! mostly from your guide, thanks ^^ now they appear with the names and texts I wrote
I'll share my steps in case someone else wants to do the same:
-extracted only the msg folder with UXM
-on smithbox, created a new project, closed smithbox
-copied "item_dlc02.msgbnd" file from msg/spaar into my new project folder/msg/spaar (I play in latin spanish)
-opened the project on smithbox, went to text editor, located latin spanish on the left window, item, right click, and imported the mod's "waifus.json" file
-searched "modified" and all the mod summons appeared in yellow, so I just translated all the texts to simple spanish
-exported only the modified params as waifus latam.json (to have a backup of my translation)
-file, save all modified text, closed smithbox
-copied the msg folder inside my new project folder into my Game/mod folder, replaced it
-deleted the msg folder in my Game folder (the one extracted with UXM) or else the game uses this one
