I won't add the other Boss mounts right now, as suggested by many of you, cause some of them aren't just mounts. For example the Tree Sentinel and his horse are a single model. That makes the process a lot more painful. But don't loose all hope friends, I am also dreaming of a mod where you can have seamless Tree Sentinel, Draconic Sentinel, Night's Cavalry, and maybe also Gaiu's horseback mounts/movesets. That is defintely something I'll work on later If my skills allow me to !
Can't seem to get this to work, I download the archive and extract to the mod/ subdirectory - but Torrent still is the same model as vanilla. Here's how I have it currently:
Hey it's been a hot minute but here's an answer anyway because I had to look these up myself to be sure:
Black: Black with gold trim Cuckoo: Red and blue with steel barding Godrick: Orange barding with green shield on the flank Leyndell: Gold barding with green saddle blanket Redmane: Steel barding with maroon saddle blanket Mausoleum: The one where the horse has no hecking head
In regards to your stickied comment - unlike how it is with the Tree Sentinel and the likes, the Nightrider horse is in actuality a separate creature from the Nightrider himself. You have the ability to dismount Nightriders in the game by killing their horse, and they also even have a unique animation for summoning a new one. So adding a Night's Cavalry horse should take about the same amount of effort it took you to add all the knight horses - only issue might be the size of the nightrider horse.
Very clean work as always, kudos. In my opinion they are a bit too large just because of the camera and our small character (thus the goat-sized Torrent), though I totally get trying to make them feel more like big proper horses. Maybe it would look better to me if we could have a taller character and a zoomed-out camera.
About your stickied comment, there's actually a deprecated Tree Sentinel horse mod out there which no one has yet been able to make compatible with the post-DLC build of the game, so maybe that could be a good resource to make things easier.
Thanks for the suggestion, although I don't think that's something I'll be using since the author kept the Torrent skeleton and just applied the sentinel horse model onto it. that means it shouldn't have any physics (no wiggly chains/decorations).This is one of the reason why I kept the original size of the horses, to keep the physics. Now you're not the first person to talk about the camera, although i'm gonna be honest, It never striked me as an issue while making the mod, but I'll dig into it I guess.
Download Elden Resizer (the original). It's camera repositioning still works despite how outdated it is. If having a zoomed out character feels odd, you can also download Elden Resizer UPDATED to just make your character a proportional size to the horse (yes, the cloth physics work). I made my knight waifu this playthrough 15% bigger and everything works great.
I already play with a more zoomed-out FOV, so the size relative to the camera doesn't bother me in that way, but I do find that the size of the horse is a bit inconvenient when it comes to hitting enemies on the ground from your mount, as the reach of your weapon is a lot smaller. Some weapons are inconvenient even on vanilla Torrent, but I use the halo scythe regularly as a mounted weapon, and I've noticed it feels a lot more like using a spear that stabs straight down instead of its usual arc.
Not saying this is something you have to try to fix somehow, just that it was my singular big "issue" with the mod. Very nice work! (Anything else is just super nitpicky, like "the ankles bend weirdly sometimes", but that was a problem with Torrent too, and is probably unavoidable when it comes to how the model interacts with inverse kinematics while keeping all the joints intact.)

PS: FOV is easy to adjust with a mod

Do I need to activate it in the ModEngine toml file? I've started via both the .bat and ModEngine .exe files and neither has worked.
