Hey, I'm not a modder, just a regular ER enjoyer. Could anyone tell me what release of yapped is supposed to be used for installation of this mod? I downloaded 1.10.1 from github as it says in readme but I'm not overwriting .csv files while copying and I don't have regulation.bin file. I'd much appreciate the help :D
could you teach me how to replicate what you've done so far? I'm trying to do this for Convergence specifically, so I can't actually use the files from this mod, they overwrite the mods params and cause all spirits to cease function
does anyone know the paramater for making the NPC spawn with the same sfx that spirit ashes do? That white/blueish smoke that comes when they either spawn or dispawn
Tried importing the CSVs through MapStudio (don't have yapped). Got an error saying the CSV had the wrong number of entries.
Make the edits manually using the provided instructions. Ended up with Latenna shooting the dog summon while the dog just sat there and did nothing. (Yes I did enter into combat to see if that would trigger something, but it did not. Latenna shot at the enemy but the dog just sat there)
Tried changing 31800052's team type to 47 because I thought that might be an error in the instructions but they still ignore each other. Latenna acts normal but the dog just stands there and does nothing.
Yapped works for me (as I completely followed every step of the instruction). Try yapped. One problem is that Latenna will not follow you once combat finished.
I was thinking about this too, but was frustrated because I couldn't find Dire Wolf on NpcParam. I've tried everything here as well. Does she not get on Wolf unless a battle happens?
a user on the modding discord did something similar, Add the Dog (NPC ID: 31800000) to her ash summon in BuddyParam. For its NPC Think ID, I put -1 so it will stay still next to Latenna and not follow you. She will mount it when you agro an enemy.
The specific steps - 1. In NpcParam, create a duplicate of Dog(31800000) with id 31800001 and change its team type to Spirit Summon. 2. In BuddyParam, create a duplicate of Latenna with id 20400001 and change NPC ID to 31800001 and NPC Think ID to -1
the dog i used is the same as the mod but i changed the NPC Think Param of the dog to -1 so he would not move (he still attacks when she is mounted but if she doesn't mount it then he is useless), the only problem i have is that if an enemy pushes Latenna away from the dog she can't ride it but it only happened once, the rest of the time when enemys aggro me she mounts it
i used this that i found on discord to make the wolf look like a spirit summon s32 SpEffect 21 - 10434 s32 SpEffect 24 - 5130 s32 SpEffect 26 - 4302 s32 SpEffect 27 - 295000 s32 SpEffect 28 - 296000 s32 SpEffect 29 - 297000 s32 SpEffect 30 - 152 s32 SpEffect 31 - 461
This will also make them look like ghost like the other spirits, not sure which one does that exactly
all credits to user Big Iron (for the dog thing) and Josko (for the summon appearance).
i found it! just turn the s32 SpEffect 26 to -1, they will removed the spirit form and become normal. if want the others NPC become spirit form just put s32 SpEffect 26 to 295000.

EDIT: After a couple of tests, it seems this sorts it out.
Hope you have a chance to update this with the latest info, from all these posts about getting the Latenna and wolf following.
