If you're anything like me, then that means you have a PC and you're dope, Obviously. But That Also means you have a friend that has a Macbook or an Apple Desktop. They are probably big sad that they cant play elden ring with you :( Cry no more! Your friend that bought a mac for $2500 instead of a PC For $500 can finally play Elden Ring!
What Kind of Mods?
ANY KIND!
Im talking .Dll mods, Mods that have lots of folders, Mods that dont have any folders, Mods that make you a giant or even mods that make you feel like youre incredibly talented when youre actually really really bad!
By Default i went ahead and packed up some mods for you and your mac using friends

- Resizer (allows you to resize your weapons, or Your body if you want)
- Online Fix (allows mac users to play online with friends)
- Transmogrify Armor (allows you to Change the appearance of any armor youre wearing while resting at a Grace)
- Boss Revive/Teleport
- Reworked Bosses
- Castles Class Spells (Reworked Spells and Ultimate Spells)
- Dash Dodge
- Special Summons (additional Mimic summon now spawns Two copies of you instead of 1)

How the heck do I Install all of this?
I spent a very long time testing and working out how to make this process as simple as possible! Ive Made an in Depth Guide that is Included with the mod download so dont you worry! I gotchu

MAC PEOPLE
All you mac users Start at the beginning of the guide and follow it all the way through to the end, otherwise it probably wont work. Every Step is extremely important for you guys, dont flub this up or your windows friends will get tired of waiting around and leave you for some super cool person that will end up becoming their best friend leading to you never ever playing elden ring with your buddies :(
PC BROS
- You're sick AF bro
- Just drop the files within the Folder titled "Drag these into your game folder" Into the elden ring game folder. Its usually Located in Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/elden ring/game
- Make sure steam is set to "ONLINE MODE" not offline
- Now all you have to do is open the folder "Launch with mods" and double click the file called "launchmod_eldenring.bat"
- Your browser will open up, you can go ahead and close that. a steam window should appear asking you to download a game called spacewar (this is a game that comes with every version of steam made for devs) we are using it as a backdoor to allow online play with our mac buddies.
* TURN OFF RAY TRACING BEFORE CREATING A NEW CHARACTER USING THIS MOD OR YOU WILL CRASH *
- Play through the beginning of the game until you reach your first site of grace. Now you can use the Seamless COOP Items to join you friends.
AAAAAND you're good to go, and it was super easy because you're dope AF. Nice dude
Full Guide For Mac Users
- The guide is included in the Mod Download so Skip to that if youd like, otherwise heres the full guide Below!
*IMPORTANT* *WORKS FOR ELDEN RING VERSION 1.14.1*If you are using a mac running on Silicon architecture (meaning M1,M2, or M3 Chips) you must install crossover and be running OS Sonoma or later, if you are on an earlier OS you can simply search Sonoma in the app store and click GET on OS Sonoma. This will take roughly 20 minutes depending on your hardware and internet speed, I highly recommend connecting directly to your router/modem using an ethernet cable to speed up the process.
1. first install crossover using the File Provided
2. the app will walk you through the steam install process
*MAKE SURE YOU DONT PUT STEAM IN OFFLINE MODE AT ALL*
3. Once it is installed using steam or any other means Restart your computer
4. once it boots back up, open Crossover and youll see that on the bottom right side there are boxes that you can check or uncheck.
ONLY CHECK "D3D METAL" and "MSYNC" (If you dont elden ring will not launch)
5. Now launch elden ring using steams interface, and then wait until you are at the title screen * DO NOT CREATE A CHARACTER YET *
6. In the menu navigate to system and then go to the far right menu that has a little display screen icon on it. dont mess with the resolution! Change the Fullscreen Option to borderless windowed. you may have to select it a couple times before it works. I would suggest using low settings initially and changing it to medium or high after the whole setup is complete. Create a new Character and load into the game
If you are playing solo and only want to play vanilla elden ring OFFLINE ONLY! then you are done at this point. If you would like to play elden ring with seamless coop and Mods Continue to step #7
7. play through the first section until you are at your first grace, rest at it and then quit the game
# Note: Every time you close the game you must also Click the "STOP" button within steam otherwise the game will not Relaunch
8. during your initial CROSSOVER setup you should have made a "Bottle" in which your game runs from. Open finder and Locate the folder containing EldenRing.exe (usually in your C: Drive Program files (x86) -> Steam -> Steamapps -> Common -> EldenRing -> Game) now with crossover running attempt to open eldenring.exe crossover should ask you if youd like to add the application to a bottle or make a new one, make sure you choose to add it to the already existing bottle that you created when you first setup crossover with steam. It might take a moment but when its done it will launch into elden ring again. once youre at the title screen quit the game and make sure to press stop within steam.
9. Now navigate back to the Game Folder that contains Eldenring.exe and then drag and drop the files from the folder i provided called "Drag These into your game folder" into the eldenring game folder. Click Replace if it prompts you.
*DONT OPEN THE GAME YET*
10. Go back to Crossover and on the top right there is an option to "Run a command", Select it and then click "browse" now navigate to the folder i provided called "launch with mods" within the folder select the file called "launchmod_eldenring.bat" now make sure before you move on you have your Bottle selected and on the bottom left of the window there should be an option to "add command as application" select it
11. use the command that you just added to launch elden ring. it will open your web browser to the Onlinefix.me website but dont be alarmed it is just linking your elden ring online services to another game called "Spacewar" this game is built into every version of steam by default but is hidden because it is made for developers, we are basically just Unhiding it. you should be able to close the web browser now. (the web browser should only open the first time and never again)
12. A steam window should appear asking if youd like to install spacewar. select the same drive that elden ring is on and hit "install" after its done launch elden ring again using the Command we added to crossover earlier called "launchmod_eldenring.bat". This time steam should say you are playing a game called spacewar.
13. once you are at the title screen navigate to system and then back to the Graphics settings.
*MAKE SURE RAY TRACING IS OFF OTHERWISE YOUR GAME WILL CRASH*
14. Start a new game and you should be able to play using the mods now. Play through the first part of the game until you reach the first grace, Rest at it and you will receive the items required to play seamless COOP. Use the "Tiny Great Pot" and then select "Open world to wanderers" to host a game. Use the "Effigy of Meleina" to join a host players game. Keep in mind you will only be able to join players who are also using these mods as well as the Online fix files that we placed in the game folder.
15. If you would like to play with players running windows or Linux systems its super easy! Just make sure they drag and drop the files from the folder i provided "Drag these into your game folder" into their game folder that contains eldenring.exe, and then all they have to do is open the "Launch with mods" folder and double click the file called "launchmod_eldenring.bat". It will open their browser the first time and have them install spacewar just like you had to. After that they can close the browser and relaunch elden ring using the "launchmod_eldenring.bat" file. Make sure they turn off shaders! Now they can create a new character and as soon as they have the seamless coop items you should be able to join eachother.
*The default password i set for seamless coop inside the "ersc_settings.ini" is: CALLHIMDEX my hope is that mac and windows users will use this to allow for more invasions
*EXTRA NOTE: THIS DOES WORK WITH FAMILY SHARING SO AS LONG AS ONE PERSON IN YOUR FAMILY OWNS IT YOU CAN PLAY, EVEN TOGETHER AS LONG AS THEY ALSO INSTALL

Q: Will i be banned using this method?
A: No, this method utilizes modengine 2 which automatically turns off the anticheat, and by doing the online fix it makes sure that you are not playing with players utilizing normal installs of the game whyile also allowing you to join your friends!
Q: When i try to use "launchmod_eldenring.bat" it says my save is corrupted, how do i fix this?
A: If you get the save corrupted message try using the "ERSC_Launcher.exe" while crossover is open and add it to the bottle you made for Eldenring.exe then launch elden ring using the ERSC_launcher.exe, at the title screen start a new game and play until you reach the first grace and receive the coop items. exit the game and then launch using "launchmod_eldenring.bat" now you should be able to start a new game with the other mods without issue. (this is because normal elden ring saves use the .SL2 file extension and Seamless Coop uses .CO2 Extension, and by starting a new game with the ERSC_Launcher.exe we essentially made it possible for mod engine to load the mods using .CO2 save files.
Q: Can i use other mods with this setup?
A: YES! For Mac Users it is not possible to add any .DLL file type mods because it is not possible to open the Config_eldenring.toml file used for configuring mod engine. but if you find a way then all you have to do is drop the "Newmod.dll" file along with its "Newmod.ini" file used to configure the mod into the launch with mods folder. Now Open config_eldenring.toml and near the top of the text file that opens it will look like this:
# Multiple mods must be separated with commas. For example if you have 3 mods, you will have something like the following:# external_dlls = [ "coolmod.dll", "D:\\nicemods\\nicemod.dll", "sosofolder\sosomod.dll" ]external_dlls = [ "OnlineFix64.dll","ersc.dll","Resizer.dll","ERSkeletonman.dll","SpEffectResize.dll","ertransmogrify.dll","ermerchant.dll", ]
Now to add your .DLL mod just input its file name in the external_dlls section after the comma and make sure you put a quotation " on either side of the mod file name. once your done it should look something like this:
external_dlls = [ "OnlineFix64.dll","ersc.dll","Resizer.dll","ERSkeletonman.dll","SpEffectResize.dll","ertransmogrify.dll","ermerchant.dll","NEWMOD.dll", ] <---- Replace "NEWMOD" with whatever your mod is called
* ADDING ANY MOD THAT INCLUDES A REGULATION.BIN FILE REQUIRES YOU TO DELETE EVERYTHING INSIDE THE "MOD" FOLDER AND THEN REPLACING IT WITH WHATEVER FILES YOUR NEW MOD CAME WITH
* KEEP IN MIND IF YOU DELETE EVERYTHING IN YOUR MOD FOLDER YOU WILL NO LONGER HAVE THE MODS COMBO WARRIORS MOD OR ANYTHING ELSE I PACKED IN FOR YOU. GLORIOUS MERCHANT AS WELL AS THE TRANSMOGRIFY MOD WILL STILL WORK AS WELL AS SEAMLESS COOP OR ANY OTHER .DLL MODS ALREADY INSTALLED
