Hello, Thank you for your great work, just asking I Got 500 remembrance in my stash and I want to use all of them at once can This mod do it ? hope you can help me with this
The only change in the item_dlc02.msgbnd is to add text to the new remembrance item I made for him. It's not necessary for the mod to function, but I just didn't want it to have no name or description. I was working on writing a guide for manually merging with a .json file that I uploaded, but for some reason the .json file was quarantined for being suspicious. I will write a guide here, but if the file gets out of quarantine in the future, I'll be sure to update the guide.
Anyway, if you'd still like it regardless, here's how you could do it for now: 1. Make sure your Smithbox is up to date. I am writing this as of Smithbox 1.0.22.1, and Smithbox just recently had a complete rewrite of the Text Editor, so it may be important that you follow these instructions on the same version as me. 2. Navigate to the Text Editor tab once you've opened your project in Smithbox 3. You should see a list of blue dropdown bars. Open the dropdown titled "English (US)" 4. Click the "Item" label in the dropdown 5. You should see new labels in the bottom left corner of the screen. There should be another blue dropdown bar in that menu titled "Base". Ensure that you've opened the "Base" dropdown. 6. Click on "[10] Goods" in the dropdown menu 7. You should now see a list of IDs and text to the right. You should be seeing a bunch of text like [ERROR] or <null> starting at ID 10. 8. There will be a search bar above that menu, type in '9339'. Click on the entry that pops up, you will need to change its Title, Summary, and Description to the following: Title: Remembrance of the Elder Inquisitor Summary: Take the power of its namesake via Finger Reader Description: Remembrance of the Elder Inquisitor, hewn into the Scadutree.
The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader. Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.
Belonging to the inquisition from a time long past, Jori was revered among his fellow hornsent for his seasoned wisdom. His aim to snuff out the flame of frenzy wrought only torment—not even his death could relieve the woods of the agony that lingers in his wake. 9. Be sure to save after making these changes. You may need to restart your game if it's open for the changes to take effect.
Sorry if this guide is a little bloated, I wanted to make it simpler it is a little bit of a process. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
Would be cool if you could add a second item to exchange the remembrance for. Maybe a Spirit Ash Summon for the Big Chunky Inquisitor dude? Or perhaps an Incantation that is his knockback teleport, similar to Miriam's Vanishing, but with an AoE effect attached to it?
