Does this mod add or change anything that would potentially be baked into the save file? I guess what I'm asking is if I remove this mod after playing offline, could I then play online normally using the same save file? Thanks!
English ver: Finally merged with Elden Ring Item and Enemy Randomizer. As mentioned earlier, extract the rows of WorldMapPointParams and BonfireWarpParams into CSV, and then import them into the regulation.bin file. Put all remaining files of this mod into the Elden Ring Item and Enemy Randomizer folders. Enjoy your random journey.
Thanks. Merging mods is time consuming and not really straightforward. I suggest using ER cheat engine table and ERtool as an alternative to open menus.
Hi, All items picked up disappear on the map except for the rare material nodes with transparent background, which do not have disable flags. However, you can toggle all of them via the specific menu option, see the description section.
Hi, I am having an issue where the Map Configuration option in the grace is showing $EventTextForTalk$ and when I select it, all the options are showing the same thing.
I am using Metis Mod Launcher, and the texts starts appearing once I changed the game's language, but no icon is appearing on the map. I already selected Display Everything on a grace.
The files were extracted to a directory exactly as they were when downloaded. For some reason, when I launch the game via Metis Mod Launcher, no icon appears on the map even when Display Everything is selected, but when I launch the game via modengine2_launcher.exe (it has to be in the game directory, otherwise it won't work either) the mod works fine. edit: Ok, I removed all mods and reloaded them into Metis, and I noticed that only the first mod I added works, all the others don't.
Thanks for reporting. The disable flags of two Sacrificial Twigs were incorrect. Made a quick update along with other small changes.
For the smithing stones, if the icon background is transparent, that's expected as these are rare material nodes that do not have disable flags. However, you can toggle all of them with the specific option, see the description section.
Hi, see my response below. To merge regulation.bin files, simply use Smithbox to export the modified rows of WorldMapPointParam and BonfireWarpParam to csv, and then import them in your regulation.bin file.
I have it setup as shown in the installation tutorial in the description of the mod. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Normal (ModEngine)\mod\talk\script\m00_00_00_00.talkesdbnd.dcx" The modengine folder is called "Normal" as i also have another mod engine folder with a randomizer. I can feel the slight lag when i open the map, but there are no options in the grace menu.
I should probably have mentioned that i already tried using it as it came before swapping them around, and it didnt work then. I have reverted it to how it came, but it still does not work.
Your regulation.bin file is smaller than the original mod's one; have you made changes? Even so, it doesn't explain why you can't see the menu options. I'm out of ideas...
The only things i have done are export the csv's like you suggested if i wanted to use it with another regulation.bin and imported a csv that made material nodes (like smithing stones) respawnable, although they didnt effect the ones that the default regulation.bin effect. Just for your information i have also tried with only the default regulation.bin and folders and it still didnt work.

Is there a reason that the original and this mod both have the same lag issue when opening the map. I can run the game fine at 144hz but for whatever reason the game does a long stutter of 2 seconds when opening the map and again when closing the map. Is there a setting that I have enabled that might cause this? both the game and the mod engine are installed on my M.2 drive and my system resources don't look stressed at all.
Also regardless of how many categories are enabled the map still stutters the same amount, I think the map is still loading the icons regardless of if they are being displayed or not.
Using the setting to hide everything still has farms?? shown on the map???
Are you using the full regulation.bin file? That one is gonna stutter hard as it has 7000 icons to load on the map and the game simply cannot handle it, no matter how powerful your PC is. You need to customize it and cut down the number of icons in WorldMapPointParam, as explained in the description section.
Hiding icons using the menu has no impact on performance as icons are still loaded in the game.
Thanks for reporting the farm icons. Those were not supposed to be included in the full regulation.bin file.

However, I can’t guarantee that you won’t get banned.

If you see $EventTextForTalk$, it means that the msg folder is misplaced.
Your msg folder should be in the following directory:
ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64\mod\msg

\mod\script\talk\
and not \mod\talk\script.I have corrected my installation tutorial. Rename the folders and it will work.

Edit: actually i just noticed that some objects didn't disappear like some smithing stones
