This mod has been updated for Elden Ring v1.12 (Shadow of the Erdtree DLC). Installation is simple using ModEngine2.
INSTALLATION ------------
1) Get Mod Engine 2.1 from: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases/tag/release-2.1.0 2) Download this mod - choose from either the DualShock 4 for PS4 or Dualsense for PS5. 3) Extract menu/ folder from the PS5.zip or PS4.zip file, into the "mod" folder in the ModEngine 2. 4) Start Elden Ring using the "launchmod_eldenring.bat" script!
VIDEO GUIDE ------------
I'll post a video guide shortly! If you're having issues please let me know. Please also let me know if you are using a different mod launcher, so I can share the instructions for installation for that!
Hi, ty for mod. If someone want use throught the Steam, just : 1) Create a sortcut of "modengine2_launcher.exe" (RMB->SendToDesktop). 2) Press RMB on Shortcut, and right in the field Object: " -c .\config_eldenring.toml" Ex: ...\ELDEN RING\Game\modengine2_launcher.exe" -c .\config_eldenring.toml 3) Add modengine2_launcher.exe on Steam, like third-party
Mate i cannot thank you enough cause i when i launch elden ring with ‘’eldenring.bat’’ yeah mod works but there is camera spinning and drift and i tried everything and found the solution to open it from steam and it worked but with xbox ui but with your way damn bro it worked with ps4 buttons since you set executable to the elden ring game and it worked with no problems!!
I dont get step 3. What do you meannnn? I right clicked on the shortcut, I dont see any field called Object. Checked properties, didnt find it there either
Edit: Finally got it. Go to Properties of the shortcut using RMB, and then in the field 'Target', finish the existing string with '-c .\config_eldenring.toml'
The ps5 controller texture (the one in the gallery) is misaligned for me. the circles don't match with the d-pad and face buttons and the the controls don't match the buttons either. Does anyone know how to fix it?

It doesn't work, unfortunately.Turns out it works, I had to place the Mod Engine 2 files directly inside the game directory.

It's helped me, good luck)
If it's not bothersome, just not very computer savvy personally
Edit: nvm just figured it out =)
what is field Object?
Press RMB on Shortcut, and right in the field Object: " -c .\config_eldenring.toml" ??

EDIT: literal trash of a mod
