Do you think you could add an option for offal to not go stale? The problem is they dont stack if they have different levels of freshness and it takes up more space in the inventory. Its just kind of annoying. The staleness of offal doesnt even matter if you are using them to make bait, its just a stacking issue.
Grotesque offals are categorized as body parts, not food. Perhaps next time, I'll create a mod to prevent body parts from rotting.
Edit : Now you can use No Body parts Decay Mod if you want prevents any items categorized as body parts (such as hearts and grotesque offal) from decaying/rotting.

Almost all are functioning fine, but crim (and maybe api as they're both nuts and I don't have that yet to test). Crim doesn't rot inside the compost box.
I tested the No Food Decay mod v.1.0.5 with crim and api placed inside the compost box and brewery barrel. They decay and become fertilizer and Crim Ale, but it takes a few in-game days for them to do so.
Definitely a good mod to have while traveling. Has already saved my life multiple times.
Mind tossing a mod together to do something about all the garbage? Maybe it being spawned in the trash boxes? Or something. My home area looks like a junkyard. :c It's crazy how badly it ruins the immersion when I walk to my crafting benches and end up with 15 bags of garbage and empty cans in my inventory. It's even in my houses.
I can make a mod to change the garbage generator logic, such as making garbage appear in specific places. However, since the game is still in early access, the code may change frequently, which could break the mod or cause conflicts with other parts of the game. It would be easier to maintain a mod that just disables the garbage generator entirely, so no garbage would spawn.
I've already uploaded the latest version of the mod, which should fix fermentation process for cheese making and brewing. Please download the newest version to get everything working properly. Let me know if you run into any other problems.

seems like only body parts and flowers can be made into fertilizers, well, it still works.
