This Nexus Mods upload is an alternative for players on the Epic Game Store who cannot download the scenario through the Steam Workshop. Reforged Eden 2 is a complete game overhaul. Nearly every block, weapon, POI, planet, trader, and mission has been updated or replaced and a large amount of new content added. For experienced players.

This is an alternate download option for players who own Empyrion - Galactic Survival on the Epic Games Store and therefor cannot use the Steam Workshop.
This Nexus Mods upload is being used only to provide a download to those using the Epic Games Store.
If you need support, have questions or feedback on the scenario, or want to report a bug, please see the Reforged Eden 2 Steam Workshop page even if you are using the Epic Games Store.
Reforged Eden 2 is intended for experienced players. If you are new to the game I recommend waiting until you are more familiar with the game before trying custom scenarios.
If you own the game on Steam, please subscribe to it on the Steam Workshop instead of downloading it on Nexus Mods.
Reforged Eden 2 is a complete game overhaul that combines Vermillion's Reforged Galaxy 2 and ravien_ff's Project Eden 2 content into a single scenario.
Nearly every block, weapon, POI, planet, trader, and mission has been updated or replaced and a large amount of new content added. This greatly changes the game experience.
Reforged Eden 2 is very different in many ways from Reforged Eden 1 with different block limits, CPU allocation, power usage, etc. Some of the values may seem shocking at first if you are coming from Reforged Eden 1 but this is why it's important to look at Reforged Eden 2 as its own scenario.

This scenario adds and changes a lot about the game and I highly recommend reading over the entire description on the workshop.
Most stock blueprints that are included with the game will not work in Reforged Eden 2. If you need help finding Reforged Eden 2 compatible blueprints you can check out the the bp_sharing_scenario channel on the official Empyrion Discord server for RE2 blueprints that have been uploaded by others or you can design your own in-game.
Install directions for Epic Game Store users:
Note: you do NOT need to download Reforged Eden 2 to play on servers running it. When you connect to a server running a custom scenario, the game automatically downloads all necessary files from the server. You only need to download the scenario here if you want to play it in single player.
Update directions for Epic Game Store users:
The scenario will not be automatically updated for you. You will need to periodically check back for any scenario updates and then manually download the new version of the scenario. Simply download the new zip file, delete your existing Reforged Eden 2 (Nexus Mods) scenario folder, and replace it with the updated version.
You do not need to start a new save game when updating the scenario, though some updates may only apply to new games.

- Download the scenario zip file from the Nexus Mods page.
- Extract the contents of the zip file to your Empyrion - Galactic Survival/Content/Scenarios folder. There should now be a new folder called Reforged Eden 2 (Nexus Mods) in your Scenarios folder.
- Restart the game (if it was already running).
- Start a new game, select scenarios and select Reforged Eden 2 (Nexus Mods). Reforged Eden 2 only applies to new save games started using the scenario, and will not affect any other save games.
- If you need assistance finding your Empyrion game folder: Epic Store Release and Custom Content
- If you want to play coop cross platform with someone on Steam you will need to link your Steam and Epic accounts: Directions
