tjena skurken I like most of the landscape and dungeon textures... actually most of everything and specially that it comes with _p textures that work great... the only thing i don't like is the wood material... it's very grey and feels flat somehow specially when there is a lot of it like in the undercity I guess it is possible to isolate these and manually remove only those without it changing much else? or are there some parts that will look weird if you take out parts like that?
Any time I enable terrain / complex terrain parallax, I get the parallax bug with the spiky landscape. I've tried pretty much everything to fix it to no avail. Just wondering if I'm missing something specific that needs to be done for Enderal.
upd: use The Omnibus - Terrain Complex Parallax AiO for terrain! I haven't properly tested it yet, but there aren't no spikes anymore and the ground looks cool :)
nvm, I reinstalled Skyrim SE and downloaded Enderal from ModPub (2.0.3. version), then got Enderal SE (that's important) xEdit version, renamed Enderal - Forgotten Stories ini from D:\Enderal SE\Game\Data to just "Enderal", created a new folder inside "My Documents" > "My Games" called "Enderal Special Edition" and pasted "Enderal.ini" there. it's all good now :)
This mod will also recieve an update for the new Complex Terrain Parallax and some Complex Material stuff. Mainly ENB stuff, so if you're not using that, i'm sorry.
Also, my high quality mesh project is still in work, just took a break from modding for a couple of months.
I'm sorry, i fked up dudes. I recently did a formation on my SSD which contained all my mod stuff and lost the .esp file which contained all the high poly mesh changes to the world which corrected them from floating and stuff. I did save the textures though, but the meshes is gonna have to wait. Feelsbadman
I know, it sucks though.. Not the first time i lost vital mod files when doing this. I had 2 .esp files linked to the mod, one in the same folder as the mod and one in the overwrite folder of MO2. And it turns out the file in overwrite contained all the worldspace changes I did in Creation Kit. The brightside is that every high poly mesh is still there and most of them don't need worldspace editing, like bananas, bowls, bread, handcarts, mining karts, cannons and much more.. So i might be able to pull out the ones i need to handplace or edit and upload it as is and work on the other stuff when i feel like modding Enderal again.
Or i might just say fck it and remove those files completely ( which consists of mountains, farmer stonewalls and big handcarts)
Aright boys, i just finished another run with this game and the spark is back. I'm going to recreate everything that i lost last year, but this time i know exacly what to do and how to do it so i expect it to be faster. Also going to upload an update to this texture pack as well as a new page for the new terrain textures with complex parallax.
Yeahboiii let's gooo. Also, I have the same spiky landscape issue as Nostalgic. Even when moving the SNP bug fix esp all the way to the bottom. Awesome mod tho!
Love this mod! Ran into some missing textures on the trail with Jespar, wasnt too worried at first bc skyrim is gonna skyrim, but it turned out to be a good chunk of stuff. that optional file that says "might fix problems with snow and parallax" did indeed fix the problems. the missing textures were snowy tents, rails, buildings, etc. Bless!
