Thanks for your suggestion! As in the description, the files are 2x or 4x the size of the original textures.
I know this is a bit lazy of me and could be better optimised
But I could, if needed, resize the upscaled textures back to vanilla size, like in my ETATU - Performance mod. This can result in better quality in some cases
i don't see the problem sorry, i think you mean the intentional 3D effect? that comes from the texture of Vurts Skyrim Flora Overhaul as far as i remember
I use enderal grass redone. I think you have to look for the information to make everything work from the comments
In the background I am working on complex material for this and that. It should be finished soon and then I'll get back to the flora
Thank you for including my mods in your guide :) Out of curiosity, why do you only use my normal maps besides the statues? If there's anything I can improve I'll be happy to hear it
Glad to know you're still working on this mod. I love your This and That Upscaled mod 😁 I had no idea until today that I had to use both the diffuse and normal maps, so I finally got all those 😂
I've heard about the Enderal Grass Redone mod but it's not to my taste, plus as you say, it's a hassle to download. That's why this mod is so great!
And I've been guessing for days what it is that you don't like xD
It was probably a risk to name the files like that. But it's only 2 files for an update and therefore a bit easier, also because diffuse and normals each have to be edited differently
What would you say I could do so that everyone knows?
Thank you for the upscale mods! Makes it easy to look on certain objects and plants again 😂
I wanted to report that when using the upscaled tropical tree files, the tropical groundcover01 has these strange purple textures around the edges? Also the orang palm tree has some purple textures on it's bark. Here are some images, sorry if they look a bit hard with the console open, it's just so you could see the meshes/textures I was talking about.
Hello, I will have another look at this in the near future when I get back to my pc. However, I have not been able to detect any such bugs. In any case, I plan to redo/upscale the vegetation textures in the future. I am no longer satisfied with the result. I also don't really recommend using the grasses anymore, Sorry for your circumstances.
Really great to see that the Enderal trees finally get some love, thank you so much :D
I noticed a little bug with the "Vurt Aspen Trees" that you can see at the Sun Temple - their branches appear black, as if the texture would not attach correctly to the tree mesh. The file path of the mesh should be: Enderal\landscape\trees\Nico\vurt_aspen01.nif
I only noticed it when I went very close to see the marvellous texture, so it's not a big deal - if you have time, you can look into it though ;)
and thank you for directly pointing me to the right mesh! i really appreciate that
do you mean the fine branches that are connected with the leaves or the actually "aspen branches" (with white bark) ? or maybe you can send me a picture? because i cant spot the problem
It seems that your textures are getting applied to the branches, but for some reason the colour is very dark / black on the branches. You can see the colour change at the connection to the branches in the images. Looking at it again, I think it is rather a defective mesh from the original game, maybe? But I am no expert, let me know what you think :)
i think this has to do with the original mesh, because if i load it into nifscope with the original texture it is the same with the branches are not connected properly.
i am no expert either :D but i think just changing the texture size does not change the mesh or how big or small the branches are ingame
maybe this tree needs a mesh replacer, because looking at it so close feels a litte wrong xD
the trunk and the big branches are geting its texture from : textures\landscape\trees\treeaspenbarkcomp.dds
if you want them upscaled you must change these textures or find a texture mod for skyrim which changes these.
Thank you for the very good detective work on this :D
This is good to know, has nothing to do with your mod then - this game has a few mesh problems like this unfortunately, and there are almost no mods that take care of it.
All the other Enderal trees I have seen so far look great, so thanks again :)
Unfortunately it seems that your bark textures react badly to torch light though... huge parts of the trees' trunks become completely black now and the effect is very unpleasant...

Please let me know if that would be of interest
The SFO version has a bug. With it, some grass begins to fly above the ground. This can be seen in Riverville near the cows.
But I will be working on this mod again soon. If you can wait, otherwise don't use it at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience
I know that it's not very visible. But the grass is floating a little in the air
I'm wondering:
Sending you good vibes 🤞🏻

Thanks for the mod!! I endorsed it.

I update the mod as soon as possible, maybe tomorrow so stay tuned!
Thanks!! Will keep you updated if I find other issues
