    I don't think this works with the steam version because it failed too find the registry path.

      to fix the problem you need to change the registry path for the game to where your game is installed through steam
      to make a registry edit make a new text doc. copy and paste the section below to the txt doc.
      change the setup path to where the you have the game installed make sure to include the \\ like how it is blow but to where you've installed the game then save as fable.reg then run it this should fix the setup path error for the program
