Why don't you use AI tools to create new voices?

Modders for Fallout 4, Mass Effect Legendary Trilogy and Skyrim have been using a neural AI tool called xVASynth to create voices for new contents, and those voices sound natural like real humans.

I rather have a human voice, rather than a synthetic one thank you
    2. Because that's a stupid idea, AI is the death of creativity, and even the worst-delivered human performance with the shittiest mic you could imagine will always be infinitely better than even the best that AI s#*! has to offer.

Just wanted to leave this comment in case anyone else runs into this and is confused.

    1. The installation instructions say to read the readme.txt but there isn't one in the newest version.
    2. To install drop the talking_heads_audio.dat file into the mods directory.
    3. Then you need to edit the modorder.txt in the mods directory and add the dat file to it, after talking_heads.dat

Thanks, I needed this. Also, it probably doesn't matter, but usually lower on the list is considered later/after.

Nvm, I finally found one called mods_order.txt in the directory. Did you find it as well?

Please don't give up on this mod. It looks absolutely wonderful! It would add so much life into Fallout 2, that I will definitely use it. Please complete it, BlackElectric1.

Also, I think using Elevenlabs to complete the voices would really speed it all up. I recently did an entire playthrough of Fallout, using Elevenlabs for all other voices but my own, and I voiced the entire game from start to finish in 14 around 1 hour episodes. The vast majority of voices were excellent. I could even get all those voicelines done for you. It's not that expensive, and there are thousands of voices in Elevenlabs, and you can even create new ones or clone existing ones. Waiting for voice actors for minor roles like this would take you forever otherwise, and most likely you'll never get to all those characters. Somethings like the dog or creature sounds, you might have to use voice actors.

I used it to clone ghoul and super mutants, and though they weren't a 100% match from the originals in the Fallout games, they sounded a bit unique and fit well.

All those Fallout videos I made are uploaded here on NexusMods. Just go through my profile.

Heads up to BlackElectric1. I'm going to give this mod another shot. If it still hard-freeze-loops my PC again though... I'm gonna have to downvote it. I read over some new instructions and I think I can make it work. But if not... you know what happens next, I'm sure.

Update: I reinstalled everything and tried it out. I love it! Thank you for working so hard to fix it! I hereby endorse your mod now!

I am using the following mods, and I am not sure if they are responsible for not encountering Kaga on the way to Klamath: Restoration Project (v. 2.3.3), Restoration Project - Talking Heads Addon (v. 3.6), Restoration Project - Talking Heads Actually Talk (THAT) Mod (v. 0.4.0).

Encountering Kaga is random, I only encountered him much later. I had the same mods, no issues.
