Downloaded mod w/o iron sights today. when i used additem command it gave me an error message saying its object id was not real (or something along those lines). When i added the gun into the game with the geck, the textures got glitchy, especial in first person. The gun has no texture, its just gray w? black patches. Can you help?
It doesn't feel very stylized. Otherwise I would love it. Perhaps bump up the model to have more sharp edges, More fluid wood edges, and more external bits of metal/metallic details. Then add lots of scratches to the gun and wood, and a crosshatch on the wood to make it look more..... Grippy.... It would hopefully get your weapon if it fit in with the games art style, which is very concise without any mods.... I mean, I would love to see a low powered 5 mm assault rifle in fallout 3, but there are none that really fit in with the setting.
I wonder if you're still updating this. I really like this gun. The more I play with it, the more I realize how nice it is. I've decided to make it the Raider's weapon of choice, because of its rugged construction and seemingly reliable performance.
There was an issue with the 1st person reload animation, that should now be fixed.
Normal map ow should be working correctly and the glossynes has been greatly reduced, I've used the vanilla G3 assault rifle as my base reference here.
tweeks to the model to improve the texture and normals, esp in the 1st person view when aiming.
Please let me know if you find any bugs, I cannot fix what I don't spot and fresh eyes always spot things I miss. ">
I'll get some screen shots up today and hopefully get a pipboy image done.
I take it no one has had any issues yet which is a good start.
EDIT: Screen shots are up, pipboy image done (although not uploaded) Looking at Classic Fallout Weapons now for a useable bullpup animation. I'm not sure this does actually work without the RH_ironsights mod. "> looking into it.

I've now uploaded a non-Iron Sights version mainly as a modding resource if anyone wants to use it in their mod.
Although you can still run it without Iron sights, you'll just need to use the player.additem console command line to get it.
