Mystyk's Faces v1.0
By MystykStar
23-09-2010
Five female savegame characters made entirely in the ingame facegen.
All are at the Vault exit, well away from the door. All are Level 1 and their alignment is Good. It's just the way I made my first character, and as I kept the original vault exit save each of their inventories contain the same amount of junk that I'd picked up along the way. Pretty much everything that wasn't bolted down :-)
At the moment there are only Caucasians and Hispanics. I may add to this with more faces later on to include a wider variety of races.
Unfortunately I can't make a decent male character, so they may be a long time coming. Even though I use some very good mods to help I still find it difficult to generate something normal.
Within the archive are three folders. Sorted by race and name. Inside each named folder are one or two screenshots as well as the save file.
No mods at all are attached to the saves.
I've included the face texture I use. I *think* it's an edited version of the one in Dimon's Type 3 Races & Textures mod. I downloaded it so long ago I just don't remember.
If anyone recognises who made it please let me know.
And yes, three of the characters I have used and have been shown in screenshots around the place. Sorry, no Cynna :-)
Other Stuff:
If you want to use any of the faces on your own savegame, or wish to start in another location other than the vault exit you will need Scanti's Facegen Exchanger to copy the face data from my files onto yours. It's pretty easy to use.
Input file would one of my faces, output file is your save. For best results and a more accurate 'face transplant' the two saves must be the same race, and preferably the same gender ;-)
Why I Released:
I'd read on the forums posts from some who were adamant that decent faces couldn't be made purely in the game's facegen. My characters are made that way, so I know they're wrong, plus they are made by using the Randomise button. Of course what it generated was used as a base and each face was created from that. I've done it that way since my Oblivion days (2006-2008) without the help of other programs such as Facegen Modeller and the Construction Set.
If Fraps didn't slow my system to a crawl I'd have it going as I made one, to further prove to the unbelievers :-)
