Well it's not completely lore friendly since according to the story China was taken over by the surrounding countries Shortly after the war, But other than that, an interesting idea.
I really like the orange samurai suit! and the setting is awesome! good job I'm shocked I'm the first one to endorse it! ( now go endorse my pictures lol j/k )
hm...odd, you have the Mothership zeta and Anchorage DLcs right? cause except for two parts, the armor is entirely from those two.
alternately, you may be confused by the fact that the seven dragoons you have to fight -are- invisible. I made them nearly totally invisible except for a slight motion-blur. they only decloak when they die, then phase away, the suits are equipped with self-destructs to prevent you from suddenly having access to seven more chinese stealth suits, that's what the pic with the blue flickery stealthcorpse is about. the only gear you should be able to get from this mod is the customised armor their commander is wearing, and their guns. the commander only cloaks when crouched, like normal.
Edit: I have around ten pics of extreme blur from being shot so much, only one of which shows the cloaked guys, I decided it wasn't worth putting in.
post justification: I don't recall hearing anything about what happened to Japan during the war. I think it'd make sense if China annexed them fairly early on, after all, they're historical enemies. in which case, this particular soldier -could- be a japanese commander who's now working for the Chinese army. thereby she'd have japanese influences in the design of the armor (being a elite spec-ops commander has its priviledges one imagines) China is also not noted for its R& to my knowledge, it'd be fluffy if Japan's better R& facilities and personel were subsumed into the chinese war effort. my thought being that the Crimson Dragoons and the technology behind their gear are predominantly Japanese developed.
as I say, its all post-justification, the real reason is that the armor looks cool and I wanted to use it in a custom armor. I appreciate the comments though
@andtheherois. You are right. As a person who studies Japan and Orient for years now, I agree with you - Japanese armor does not pertain to the chinese warriors, regardless of the point in the time. Here:
This link should be helpful to anyone who wants to make a chinese armour from the era that corresponds to the time when the Yoroi (the samurai Armour from FO3) was in use - i.e. the Middle Ages.
Downloading the mod regardless, it looks cool. BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI!
