About this mod
An ENB with multiple settings so you can choose what works for you. Has both performance and enthusiast settings available.
- Permissions and credits
My goal is to provide the most realistic experience while maintaining a post-apocalyptic look.
I'm very interested in how different settings affect performance. Please comment on what configurations you've used and how it's hit your FPS. My system stays at 60 no matter what. Also post pics and comment, I would love to see and know what you like and don't like.
Options include:
High or low SSAO (In my opinion the most valuable aspect of ENB)
Boken DOF
SMAA anti-aliasing injector
ENB palette effects active or non-active
Various sharpening levels
Various saturation levels
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. First you need to download the enb .118 file from Boris' site here:
http://enbdev.com/mod_falloutnv_v0118.htm
Click the download arrow and save that file.
2. Unpack it.
3. Copy just the d3d9.dll file from there into your Fallout main directory, NOT THE DATA DIRECTORY!
4. Go into the "Full ENB" or "SSAO_Only" directory of this file and copy just those files (no sub-folders) into your Fallout main directory.
5. The sub-folders contain optional files, just go into the option you want and copy the files (again, no sub-folders)
into your Fallout main directory and overwrite any files you previously copied.
If your sub-folders have more sub-folders, you have to copy the files from the first sub-folder, then copy the files from the second sub-folder.
6. IMPORTANT!!! You need to edit your FalloutPrefs.ini
You need to change (or add) these lines:
[Display]
iWaterMultisamples=1
bTransparencyMultisampling=0
iMultiSample=1
iMaxAnisotropy=1
bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
These are some of my other personal settings:
[Imagespace]
bDoDepthOfField=0
[BlurShaderHDR]
bDoHighDynamicRange=1
[BlurShader]
bUseBlurShader=0
7. IMPORTANT!!! Disable all anti-aliasing on your ATI or nVidia control panel.
That's it, enjoy.
