This mod is a masterpiece. I'm replaying FO3 with maxed settings and mods. This gives the weapon diversity I need without changing the base game too much. Kudos and "thank you for your cooperation." You even made the cases with the Beretta logo. Well done sir!
Hello Prensa I hope you are well. I loved this mod in my Fallout 3 and Fallout Tale of Two Wastelands playthroughs, the best Auto 9 mod created. I was wondering if there is any plans or if you would no how to update and convert this to work in Fallout 4?
Well, during the last 3 years I've been downloading mods - this has to be one of if not my most favourite weapon mod so far.
I had wanted a decent Auto-9 for NV a long time ago, since someone had posted a model, and there was one that was not nearly complete - with all-black low quality textures, odd size in first person and even the meshes for the casings were missing.
Either way, I never expected to find this kind of weapon, in this quality, for Fallout 3. I'm glad there are still people working on this game too, what with New Vegas and Skyrim being out.
Endorsed and definitely looking forward to possible future releases.

I'm so pleased you liked it. It's always great to hear that others enjoyed my weapons.
I'd been a long time fan of the original film & this weapon for some time.
Making this & the Beretta 93R started me on a bit of a Beretta phase with M9, 92fs Inox, Cleric's gun & 90Two/96A1 mods following soon after. As far as semi automatic pistols I'd been more of a Colt 1911 fan previously.
"I'm glad there are still people working on this game too, what with New Vegas and Skyrim being out."
I've yet to overcome my dislike of STEAM so I don't have Skyrim or New Vegas, so I'll be in Fallout 3 wastelands for a while.
"Endorsed and definitely looking forward to possible future releases."
I've quite a few weapon models completed so there will be more releases when I manage to get around to packing them up.
I'm hoping to release my AMT Hardballer Longslide with laser sight from the original Terminator next.
Thank-you for endorsing & taking the time to comment!
Make a New Vegas version of the Auto 9 pleaase? This is much better than the other one already in NV (this has better model and textures and is animated when fired). Plus if you can add a suppressor mod like the one they did in Far Cry 4, this would be the sweetest pistol in fallout to shoot the raiders and the creeps!
What pre-conditions do you wish to set for an FNV port? I imagine proper credits, perhaps a link to your original FO3 mod; or that they need to ask you in a PM to use the assets of your mod for an FNV port and for an FNV port only. Give it some thought; you put a lot of effort into this -so be prudent in how your mod may or may not be re-distributed in either original or modified form. Do you wish to keep this a Nexus exclusive, or would re-hosting on other sites be permitted? Just some little things to take into consideration.
To prevent clogging your Comments Section with more requests for FNV [sup]port, you might want to contemplate posting the FNV port permission -and its prerequisites- either in the Long Description [Legal Section] or in a sticky post. That way other modders will know what is required of them to pick it up.
"What pre-conditions do you wish to set for an FNV port? "
I like to leave it so that people PM me for permission if they are interested in using assets or making direct ports.
I've allowed weapons to be ported to New Vegas before, like the Oblivion rifle.
Proper credits are normally all I ask.
While generally prefer only posting to the Nexus I have in the past allowed certain things to be posted elsewhere, just depends on the reasons & the request.

The Permissions tab has conversions not allowed unless asked for set, so hopefully interested people will PM me.
I always answer my PM's.
On my newest mod (Beretta 92fs Inox - Beretta M9 - Cleric's Gun) I've started to add that I've not got New Vegas into the FAQ's.
I may add it here but I'm not sure people read them.
I managed to port it using FNVEdit and Nifskope (I added ##SightingNode on it) for the reason of so much excitement with the gun. My issue is my PC occasionally going potato right now. I hope I can save the files before my PC goes down for good so I may be able to share it here. With credits goes to you prensa of course
Btw, heres the screencap: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/images/87841/?
Yes you may upload a New Vegas port of my Auto 9 and Beretta 93R twin pack to New Vegas Nexus, as long as I'm credited for my work of course.
Assuming you meant you wanted to upload & not just a private port.
The only reason I don't do it myself is I do not have STEAM & so cannot use New Vegas & thus not support a mod over there.
"I added ##SightingNode on it)"
Sighting nodes in New Vegas seem like such an improvement on having to fiddle with position of the whole gun if you want to adjust for Iron Sights in Fallout 3.
The guns work well, but I have a suggestion: Maybe you could make it so the guns aren't free? Like, add a quest or different locations or a vendor. Just a small suggestion, also 1,000th unique download.

Thank-you for the suggestion. I tend to release my weapons with .esp's that are as low impact as possible to avoid clashing with other mods. The plugins tend to be basic, mainly serving as a way for non GECK users to be able to use them or more experienced modders to test them.

I like to be as unobtrusive as possible & keep my added weapons balanced so I'm pleased you're finding it blending well.

Pleased you liked the cases, they are a fun little touch I like to include with my weapons when I can.
If you like Beretta you may be interested in my Beretta 90two and Beretta 96A1:

Sorry for the late reply.
"Prensa, is there no New Vegas version of this? Or am I just missing it?"
There was a super compilation of many of my Fallout 3 weapons for New Vegas here:
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60683/?
But sadly it seems to currently be hidden.
There is another Auto 9 model in New Vegas by another Author here:

Hope this helps!

I've no plans to convert this to Fallout 4 as I don't own that game.
Still dislike STEAM enough to avoid it.
There have been many changes to .nif's in Fallout 4 from Fallout 3 & New Vegas so converting would be more challenging.
As long as I was asked first I would not mind someone else converting though.
Take care,
Prensa

Glad you like them & thanks for the endorsement & comment.

I'm glad you enjoyed these, I've got a few other gun mods that might also interest you, I was on a Beretta binge for a bit there.

"i love the beretta designs. "
Yes they are cool designs, stylish without being over the top.
It was working on the Beretta 93R for this mod that made me really appreciate them, just had to make the classic 92fs.
Thank-you kindly for taking the time to comment!

"Make a New Vegas version of the Auto 9 pleaase? "
Sorry, I sadly don't own New Vegas as I just can't stomach STEAM.
Since I'd be unable to support the mod & it's users properly over there I can't adapt it.

"Would you consider giving someone else permission to port this to FNV?"
I'd be more than happy to allow someone to port this to New Vegas.
The models would be straight forward enough, only the special three round burst animation would require someone with a bit more knowledge.
