Early 2023, one of the best player houses for starting location in Springvale. I used this safe house for my companion Ilana and it's very convenient to store items and equipment before going out in the Wasteland. Also there is no new gear and outfits, just crates, workbench and bed for regular wastelander. Should you try this mod in 2023? Yes, if you need decent player house or place for your companions.
Doesn't seem to work with the latest GOG version of FO3 (with this mod activated in Vortex, there is no locker nor the entrance to the bunker near the mailbox, even with the fresh character). My mods:
Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch 3.3.2
Increased Initial Heap Size 1.0
Stewie Tweaks 3.10
Command Extender 22.0
OneTweak 2.1.0.2
NVAC 7.5.1.0
FOSE 1.3.2
Update: Ignore this; after installing another housing mod, locker and the entrance appeared. Weird.
So I downloaded the mod yesterday, and I must say it's one of the best hideout I found in Nexus. It's beautiful and very well designed. It's navmeshed so followers can enter, and I tested it as a BoS HQ, they can make push-ups and sport in the middle, sit on chairs/stools, take crafting position at the workbench, use the bed... well it's cool. And the fact that there's not goodies left by the chinese spy is cool, as I don't like to find a whole arsenal in each little hideout/house mod I see here.
Endorsed. My favorite home mod. Very well done. No issues. Was wondering if you could also make another home mod near Rivet City teleport spot. Perhaps another hidden protuding manhole cover behind the large square pillar a little north of where the caravan merchants stand.
The Nuka-cola machines are storage containers. They don't seem to have the ability to turn Nuka-Cola Ice cold. Do you have any plans to add that? http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Pristine_vending_machine
There is in fact a Nuka Cola machine -more than 1 actually. [Ice Cold Nuka Cola -mmm!] As for an infirmary; personally, since I do not have a hardcore mod installed -similar to the hardcore mode in New Vegas, i.e. stimpaks don't heal crippled limbs, sleep, food and drink become survival necessities, poison is more hazardous, etc.- all I need is a bed and some nap-time. Still, if IanY / Dimeron is willing to incorporate these items, all the better, but -again personally- I don't miss them.
EDIT: [21-11-2014 / dd-mm-yy] I'm guessing that all that is required is to add an existing script to the small fridge [HD01NukaVendingMachineScript or HD02NukaVendingMachineScript; I'm assuming that one script is for the Megaton version, the other for the Tenpenny variant -from a quick glance in the GECK, the scripts seem to be identical, but maybe I missed something.]
EDIT 2: [23-11-2014 / dd-mm-yy] I missed something! Both scripts -HD01 and HD02- call for a Persistent Reference, which means that either script is tied to a specific container: either the Megaton or Tenpenny Pristine Vending Machine. In order for the Spy Safe House to have a working Nuka Fridge that chills any regular Nuka Cola's, one of the fridges in the Bunker needs a Persistent Reference added -then one of the existing script needs to be copied and pasted into a new Object Script and MODIFIED so it has the new Container Reference and a new Scriptname, or it will overwrite the existing script [rendering the Tenpenny or Megaton fridge inoperable, resulting in possible CTD.] Other than that, it actually works.
The Infirmary is located in the Armory, it is right beside the armor lockers, underneath the x-ray panel. Works exactly like the one in Megaton/Tenpenny.
The Nuka Cola Machine was not added (the mini vending machine is just a storage container), mostly because I found it to be kind of a hassle, since iced-nuka-cola can't be turned into Quantum with the perk. But if there is enough interest it can certainly be added to the mini-vending machine.
Why is my Nuka-cola warm! Someone must have broken in and sole the Refrigerant for my ice-cold Nuka-cola Refrigerator. Also sir the base id for the pristine vending machine is 0007c126; which is the one that is used in both player homes.
I don't know about Base ID, but the Form ID's for the Pristine Vending Machines, as found in the G.E.C.K.: 000C502F in Tenpenny Tower 000C502B in Megaton So they're 2 separate objects.
There's a 3rd one, to be found in Girdershade [000290BC]. And even a 4th [0002D1AB] which is not in the gameworld.

Could you tell me where is the second secret switch?
Thank You.
