Couple months late, and I don't yet know if there's a difference after this mod is installed, but the standard method of doing that in the game is to Hold the "Change View" Key (default 'F' on Keyboard) then move the camera/mouse around while the key is held down. It still prevents player-facing rotation though, so you can Only move forward, back, left, right, or diagonally (with your character facing the same general direction) while the key is held.
I swapped everything to use the over the head perspective, just out of curiosity. I never expected to actually like it as much as I do. I do wish there was an option to switch to first person while aiming down sights though, that would be perfect. Aim In First does this, but sadly only works with the vanilla 3rd person cam.
This mod was a sanity saver. I was losing my mind trying to figure out which of the 110 mods I downloaded shifted my 3rd person sight to the far right of my character. This mod let me put it back dead center, thank you.
Great mod, I was looking for a mod just like Shoulder Switch Cam for Fallout 4 and this is pretty much spot on and them some extra features that I'm sure others are glad to have!
In Fallout 4 I assigned the Hotkey 'Z' to toggle from left to right shoulder. In this mod, A is to Switch left and D is to switch right. Unfortunately, I haven't found another way to set it up so that corner peaking in-game is more fluid. If anyone cares to share their settings, please let me know.
