thanks just got the thing in the quest so this will come in handy! Moria aint too bad.. though im half expecting her to say 'eh" at one point at least :-p.
As a Canadian well traveled in my home country, I can assure you I have heard soooooo many women down east who sound like Moira. Wandering the wastes feels more like home (which many people around the world think is mostly wasteland anyway lol).
Tried this one out, and I don't know if it interfered with any other mods (though none of my mods deal with inventory at the moment), but instead of marking the sanitizer as a quest Item, it just made it impossible to drop any of my items, regardless of category.
Edit: Figured it out, I just needed to reset the control scheme.
Just installed the mod and just a quick question, does the weight for the sanitizer still show up as 7 lbs in my inventory even with the mod installed, or does it change the weight without changing what's displayed in the pipboy?
Quest Objects will still display their weight, but the weight will NOT weigh against your total weight. This is true of all post-Oblivion Bethesda games.
Perfect example is Skyrim. During the DLC and main story you get 3 elderscrolls and each one weighs 20 pounds. But if you empty your inventory, you'll have 0 weight.
It lowers the amount of rads you gain from food and drink, and also increases the amount of health you gain from eating that food. It works automatically as long as you have it in your inventory, but it weighed seven pounds and was an actual object in your inventory that could accidentally be lost if you were careless with it. Thankfully, this mod fixes those issues.
The problem with the food sanitizer is it's mostly useless clutter. Most food only restores ~5 HP with the sanitizer active. One nuka cola does more than two or three 'real food' items.

Ya I haven't seen it do anything real spectacular. I mean .. how does it work? I had dirty water and I thought just having this in the inventory would make it clean...
Yup. It is, but still handy. I tend to go Food -> Water -> Nuka Cola -> Stim Packs. An extra HP or two is good. Especially if you have a ton of Mirelurk Meat.
I don't know what I did wrong. I can still sell it accidently Help?
DO I drop the file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 or into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3\ Data ? Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks, great idea. I was tired of always dropping it, or lugging it around. I was using the Lightweight Food Sanitizer mod, but I think I'll use this instead.
