Updated Feb 2023 for clarity, brevity - and minor news.

Note the main parent mod is currently available here on Nexus, it's just the Metros Alive submod that's not. Regards the Metro Alive submod, Druuler here (at the DC Subway mod's comments) told me they got hold of Beth, who still plans to revive it. Druuler hopes to report back there if/when she hears of an upload. It's not a priority but at least Beth's been asked eh?

Feb 2023 news on Metros Alive - Made a fresh request. Check at the main mod link for any news there, but I'll also try to PM those who've specifically asked nicely for the submod since it last disappeared, if I get wind of anything definite (i.e., an upload) in the near future.

Note, Beth has an official mods page at Mods In Exile - sadly Metros Alive isn't on it but I've linked it as it has two of her other FO3 mods (Brailee's Cookies, and Billboard Camps).

It's such a shame that the original mod has been taken down

Wow you're right, just a week after I posted that update too...

I hope she changes her mind and decides to restore them later, Metros Alive has been one of my must have mods for years :(

I appreciate all the work you have done. I would like to suggest and ask if you could please make a traditional installer that works with FOMM, Mod Organizer 1 & 2 please.

Manual is simple in this case as the mod assets has it's own dedicated folder path, so won't overwrite and would be easy to remove. I always manually install on FO3 and then only use FOMM for activation, it's very simple to use that way.
