Can you please change the Assault rifle sound to something better? Both the Chinese and G3 assault rifles share the same sound  and its terrible, I really like all the other sounds so I'm keeping the mod but I have tried deleting the files in the ESP and adding new ones and the gun is just quiet with no sound at all, I even tried just disabling the Assault rifles esp. and it still plays the shitty sound. I need help. Is there any way I can just get vanilla sounds for Assault rifles and not remove all other gun sounds?

Sounds are super inconsistent. Some guns you can barely hear anything from the distant, while the fucking assault rifle DESTROYS your eardrum

In love with the new Hunting Rifle fire sound. But I can't say the same for the assault rifle - it just sounds like somebody tapping a ruler on a table.

Sorry for the delayed response. Disabling the esp’s will in fact disable the sound. Doing this improperly (deleting files) will cause no sound. Even better, you could drop and replace any GF sound file you like, just be sure to rename them properly. It’s super simple, that is actually how I do the updates. As far as the assault rifle(s) sound go, I’m working on an update.

What a wonderful mod! Every single gun has a realistic gunfire sound. Thanks for your hard work. I also use MO2 to install this mod, but I didn't have any trouble when using it.
Also have a little question here, what do RH_IronSights_Pitt_NewRifleSights.esp do, is it okay to keep it?

The RH new sights esp changes the scope on the infiltrator/perforator from vanilla to a scope that has a “see through” function rather than a black border like the vanilla one. It’s an awesome feature of RH irons but it causes the weapon to not play the gunfire sound effect. Its okay to keep the RH new sight esp but just make sure it’s disabled. Thanks for the feedback!

I was having trouble with this mod (almost mute sound effects). What I did was transfer the content from the "Data" folder from this mod (if using Mod Organizer 2) to the root.
INSTEAD of root > Data > sound > fx, I did root > sound > fx and it worked.

The mod has a bit of incompatibility with Weapon Mod Kits. When a gun is unmodded, the sounds work fine, but when they have a mod added on, it plays the vanilla gunshot sounds. I've tested this with other sound replacers and they all work with WMK, this one is the only one ive tried that doesn't. I've installed all of this mod's files correctly, sound files in the sound folder, esp in the data folder, but my problem still persists. I know the description says that weapon replacer mods wont work with this but I'm not sure if I'd call WMK a weapon replacer mod. I really like this mod, I think it makes guns sound a lot better but I plan on using WMK so i wont erven be able to hear them. Endorsing it anyway because I do really enjoy it, but I wont be using it unless a patch is made.

Edit (all irrelevant as of v2.5) Hey thanks for the endorsement. Yes in the description it states that this mod only affects weapons of the base game variant, I know this is a bit of a grey area with WMK. With WMK the way it works when you add a modification to a weapon, it replaces the ID with a new one so it is basically using weapons that are added to the game. I have not used WMK in a long time however I use the optional “added weapons” plug in by RH iron sights (which adds weapons like a scoped hunting rifle, similar to one made through WMK) and it was annoying me how such a similar weapon is there without Fo3 GF being able to take effect. Unfortunately I just don’t have much free time currently and if anything, I would like to focus next on adding DLC support rather making patches.

Also makes no sound for me. No mod could be conflicting with it.

If there’s no conflicts then your really not doing something right. Did you download automatically or manually? Edit no response, thanks for the s#*! post

I patched all of your sounds into my heavily modded game in FO3edit annhilated all conflicts, unfortunately I cannot hear any of them they're all mute. Highly unfortunate, I got the mod working with FWE/Blackened all of it but even the default versions of your sounds are all mute for some reason. Please look into this if you have time, this looks like such- correction SOUNDS like such a wonderful mod.

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear that its giving you trouble.  You said in Fo3edit that there were conflicts, do you remember off hand which mods were causing these conflicts?  Also did you download the mod manually instead of just automatically? Anyway it sounds like you know what your doing so I'll try my best to help..

      Hi there,
Just a suggestion, but maybe you didn't put the esp's far enough down in your mod list, they may be getting overwritten by FWE, UUF3P etc. Also, you may want to check that the sound files are in the correct folder, they can easily get dumped into the wrong folder if you aren't careful.
      Good luck.

Yes, exactly, as seangloin stated, make sure (especially if your downloading manually) that the folders are placed in >Fallout 3>Data>sound>fx>wpn

These are wonderful and compliment really well the ''New Fallout 3 Weapon Sound Effects'' mod since yours runs on an ESP, the other does not so the modded weapons using vanilla sfx get that mods sounds while yours uses vanilla weapons (if that makes sense) and creates a variation in weapon fire on similar weapons that really blend really well. Endorsed and hoping to see a laser sfx perhaps in the future!

Thank you for the feedback! I’m glad it’s adding to your experience! Hmm, I wonder what it would be like adding/finding energy weapon sounds.. sounds fun! I don’t have much free time during the work week but I will dwell on this idea lol thanks again!
