UNRELATED TO THIS MOD BUT SOMEONE SAID THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST PLACE TO ASK.
Hey can anyone here help me figure out how to make custom perk icons for FNV? I'm having some trouble trying to figure it out.
So I made my own custom icon using an existing game icon as a template but when I try to export it, I noticed that the quality is completely ruined. I'm using Paint.net and I am exporting them as DDS files. That's not the problem I think it's my export settings but I've tried messing around with them and I can't seem to figure out why this is happening.
I'm attaching some example images of the damage.
How it should look (Minus the black BG I just added that so it's easier for you to see what I'm talking about) vs How it looks when exported. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.
Could you send me a link to a fully-updated DarnUI, and VUI+ so I can compare the two to my liking? I can't seem to find one and I'm dying to use your mods, Lol.
Edit: All of your other mod's work, it's just this one that is being picky. Here's the issue I'm having.

Further Edit: When I level up, it won't let me use my skill points, LOL. Ripperoni. I don't know what that's about. (When I uninstalled your mods it allowed me to level up again. Weird..)
Thank you for trying. Those fixes didn't help me, but I did something in the DarnUI.ini and fixed it somehow. Now they work properly. When can I expect the rest of the Fallout 3 Perks to be finished? Grim Reapers sprint looks CRISP.
By the way, that DarnUI update breaks the loading screens by covering everything except the Save and Load sections with a weird green rectangle.
@RangerDave1 - Can you please give the detail on how you were able to fix this? I also tried updating using the Unofficial DarnUI update, also got the dark block covering everything. If you take everything from the update - that doesn't work, because of missing masters (if using only FO3). Which files from the update should be taken and which excluded? Or if none, what INI updates did you have to make?
I didn't use that, I downloaded something else. I can't remember what it is off the top of my head. I'll look once I get home. I'm out of town right now.

I export using this plugin for Photoshop: https://developer.nvidia.com/gameworksdownload#?dn=texture-tools-for-adobe-photoshop-8-55
Alternatively you could export it as a PNG and convert it to DDS using XnView MP.
Or a better UI mod, like VUI+.

Use either of them! Don't use both at the same time obviously, as it is not compatiable.
This should fix your issue
