    I read what you said earlier and...

    I don't know if it's the same for fallout 3, but I was looking through the Fallout NV Geck and there was a game setting about repair cost.

    If you wanna look for it, go to the gameplay tab, then settings, and filter for "Repaircostmult"
    I'd prefer if EVERYONE could repair your stuff to 100%

    Downloading this now. I love the concept. It's extremely useful for more unique weapons. I personally got tired how I had no effective way of repairing weapons obtained from Point Lookout while in the Wastelands. Kinda tiring to go and retrieve the needed parts from PL all the time. Also, it really didn't make sense how Moira and Winthrop who are supposed to be mechanics had such medicore skills. Great mod. Useful but doesn't make things too easy (like making every freaking merchant a master in the art of repairing stuff.)

    Crappy mod where you can't even make the NPC repair the weapons or armor to a 100%.

    This is good, because there are some unique weapons that are difficult to repair, like the firelance, which burns out its condition pretty fast.

    Can Moira repair to 80% before or after you convince her to stop writing her guide? (dream crusher perk)

    as it is now if you convince her to drop the idea she can repair you to... 75%? (her repair skill goes up to 55 or so)

    this mod would get around the trouble of having to convince her - but i don't know if it would conflict with the game itself (like if she starts at being able to repair to 80% if you crush her dreams does her repair ability go up because she "had more time to concentrate on repairing things now that [she's] not working on that book") or does the game/mod simply toggle the repair skill and not add to it (like a skill book)

    if you're going to make another version - can you add a Mechanist NPC that can repair your stuff if you stopped him but let him live? <img class="> [maybe in Big Town so he can help them fight the evil super mutants]

    i think Pronto should get a beef up too - considering he's the only weapons guy in Paradise Falls (supplying all the slavers) - if can be perhaps only have it raised once you turn in the 20 chinese rifles to him so he starts selling better stuff (because he'll have more stuff to repair so his ability went up) - if the inventory change has a flag maybe you can use that for the skill change as well [I don't know how to mod, so if it doesn't work like that I appologise] ^^;

    I'll definitely install this mod on my second play-through. The amount of time & skill points I've put into Repair is crazy when I shouldn't have had to.

    These people own shops; they *had to have* picked up something along the way. Time for them to start pulling their weight.

    "It could provide a different game experience as players can tryout other perks, instead of always selecting ones related to repair. You don't have to play the way Bethesda wants you to."

    SAY WUT? Nobody forces you to get Repair. You're never required to have it, past maybe 30 if you want to do the stupid Megaton quest. That's like saying you HAVE to be a stealth based small arms character to get anything done. That's lunacy.

    The game doesn't dictate how you play, you do. If you think otherwise, you must also find this game shockingly hard when it isn't at all.
