I liked your mod a lot in Fallout 3, it was awesome, and added that final touch for my cyborg character, while being neither underpowered nor overpowered. Can I please use your meshes, and textures for a similar mod in New Vegas? I would like to make a diverse array of bionic eyes for NV, and I personally think you made the best bionic eye mesh, and texture ever.
Oh and I'm definitely going to endorse this mod, when I can.
I don't like its looks alot. Its kinda too basic to me, or something. I can't express well. I won't disendorse just because of that, I suppose there are enough of those who do like it.
All by all, it DOES work decently lol, doesn't look that bad either. I just don't find it fitting in with my Fallout experience, thats all.
Meh It's cool never really tried moving much in nifskope never any need, and when i have it's just with a rightclick then transform and edit. It's not that big of a deal for me to worry about getting it working "> at the moment, got things i want to get done to upload. Though I even attempted it the long way and started with the base skelly and the "cylinders" without armatures, then parented and weight painted manually, pasted the branch into my cali body nif after i removed everything else (because my body had the least stuff to remove) and still only one wants to appear in game >< is it weighed to more then one armature? because when i import it into blender it's only the one armature(bip01_head) or w/e, but in nifskope there are 4. Though that should have worked as far as i can tell LOL but still only one is apearing. Anyways thanks Arcade.
To add another one, copy and paste the trishape in nifskope, themm move it over to the other eye.
To move a fallout shape in nifskope you have to open the BSDismemberSkinInstance and select the NiSkinData. Then expand the Bone list in the block details, then you can use the transform option on these bones.
If you just use the transform tool on the trishape it wont move in the actual game.
Hmmm I made this an awful long time ago now. I suppose you could align it with the eye by connecting it to the eye mesh, unfortuantly doing so would cause it to move with the eyes. Basically i tried to get the best placement i could for the varying shapes of peoples faces.
I dont beleive there's antyhing in the geck that can help, all i can suggest is if it doesnt align with your characters eye you can use nifskope to move its position.
Quite honestly, it dosent look right at all. What I suggest would be realigning the eye's placement so the crosshair on it aligns with the pupil of the regular eye.
But that might be almost unreasonable, looking at how they line up on some faces. Is there a way to change where its stuck on the face to be centered over the eye, no matter the eyes placement, in the GECK?
I'll still download because it would go good with my current character, and hope it aligns as well as your example screenshots.
