Absolutely love this mod. It actually goes incredibly well with lStewieAl's Tweaks since one of the functions of that mod allows you to attempt any lock regardless of your Lockpick skill.
The cool thing about these two mods is that this mod actually won't give a 100% chance to pick locks that you technically aren't supposed to pick yet. So with both of these mods combined, you have a 100% chance to pick any lock that you meet the requirements for, but for more difficult locks, you either need to risk breaking the lock or pick it the old fashioned way.
lStewie's mod means there's still incentive to invest in the infiltrator perk, and this mod means there's still incentive to increase your Lockpick skill in order to be able to eventually have a 100% chance to force locks of any level.
Oh THANK YOU! I love you! I played Two Worlds, Two Worlds 2, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and now I'm in Fallout 3 and I am SICK of lock picking. Every one of those games had it. And I do every single location, side quest and even mods with quests so that's a lot of lock picking! I wish I had found your mod a year ago. Here it is eleven years after you uploaded this - it's June/2020 - and I have a ton of mods installed, and yours still works just fine for me. Covid has forced me to stay in for 2 1/2 months playing Fallout 3. I can't say I mind a whole lot and it'll be even better now. :) Best wishes .

You need to type in this command every time you start the game though, just like what it's saying in this mod's description.
Too bad though, i tried to install this mod, but the Force Lock chance on locks didn't change. guess it's not working any more, or i have a mod that's screwing with it like FW.
Could someone upload a new update to this mod, or tell me how to fix it?
Mini games were fun the first playthru only. I really appreciate this mod. Reminds me of how Lockpicking Skill works in original Fallout and Fallout 2 :)
Great mod. I can't stand mini-games in rpgs, and this mod, in combination with another one that bypasses the hacking mini-game - "Hacking terminals is easier" - makes playing FO3 so much more enjoyable. I very much doubt that I would even want to play the game without these mods, that is how essential they are.
Thanks for this. Lockpicking gets old in a hurry. I played the minigame over and over again for an entire playthrough, and I had no desire to do it again when I started replaying.
Thank you so much for this. Just got Fallout 3 GOYE a couple weeks ago, and the lockpicking minigame was the one feature that drove me nuts.
If they'd made it so that when I could open 75+ level locks, the ones considerably lower than that (like 40 or under) would automatically be solved, maybe I could've lived with it. But hell, late at night, after a glass or two of wine... let's just say it can get frustrating damned fast. Not to mention tedious -- and that's even without the wine.

It's amazing.

So, thanks!
