Good stuff. Sometimes I get a feeling that all the "pitch black nights" advocates and modders who do it like that are a bunch of city dwellers that never saw a REAL, not light polluted night. Even in the middle of my big city, when the power went out in a huge area near me, around midnight last fall, when I walked out it was bright as hell. I could see everything around me in at least 100m radius. Same goes for nights in the country, if it's far enough from big cities with their light pollution. Nights like that are awesome and should be reflected in the game where light pollution is pretty much not an issue. The original mod author is a buffoon.
The original mod author should have at least offered an optional esp for brighter nights instead of stubbornly imposing his own viewpoint in response to multiple requests for this feature.
The original mod author can do whatever the f*#@ he wants. It's his mod. If you don't like something about this mod, change it isteand of telling what someone should or should not, like the uploader of this plugin did. You people all the time forget that mods are enchantments made for your games for free, nobody owes you anything and nobody gets any kind of profit from it. Yet you always come in whining and demanding like that fat chick in Walmart saying there's no extra-extra size in their clothing department.
I don't like dark nights either, but mod author did not lie to you about something, he provided the file, all listed changes and shown you videos. So stop being a bitch.
Couldn't agree more. These "hardcore gamer" kids act like they pay valuable money to the modders and should comply to their requests. No one owes them jack shit. If you don't like it, too bad for you btch and cry in your momma's basement.
there's a "brighter nights" mod for Fellout that is as it says; a brighter version of Fellout's darker nights, somewhere between vanilla and the pitch black of default Fellout. its still too dark for me, but atleast i can see anything at all when my Pipboy light is off.
Installed this because of pitch blackness with FOOK. So far EXTREMELY HELPFUL! Still dark, but playable! Will keep you posted, as I'm torn between this one and Fellout Nights Restored; will have to try both extensively..
I don't get why Fellout has such unnaturally dark nights. I am out at night every night, and without lights you can still see around you. When there are lights it's even easier to see. Why is there no moon in fellout?
It's pretty much impossible to play at night with fellout, you need to either wait or get more mods to make it playable. Also the considerable graphics power used to render the all super pitch black everywhere is pointless.
Thanks for this mod, I'll have to use it for new vegas and if there is a skyrim version too.
Excellent! I wish modders who make these things wouldn't insist on folks having to go blind at night. Your mod is perfect.
Particularly with Fellout, where the author calls everyone who doesn't like blindingly dark nights "little girls" in his readme. Put a smile on my face overwriting his .esp files lol!
yeah noticed alot of modders here tend to be pretty rude. which is kind of stupid, the mods they upload don't matter in the slightest without us using them.

also silence banned account.
The default game doesn't even look like night, so I like the idea of Darker Nights, but Fellout overdoes it for me.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
