Out of curiosity, what happens if you use one of these crafted vertibird grenades after destroying the institute? Does it simply not show up or does your grenade change anything about that?
I'm just curious because I sided with the institute on this playthrough and I wonder if this would break the game or something by using it in these conditions.
I never find these grenades or have the option to buy them anywhere since the BoS is destroyed so I've never been able to test that.

use https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12558   it lets you use them with any faction.
to answer your question about this mod: i think this uses vanilla scripts, which means you have to be in BOS faction and complete a specific quest first. institute being destroyed shoudnt have anything to do with it.

Could you make a craftable synth relay grenade?

Thank you. It was so annoying to use a vertbird grenade to fly to the Pridwyn, Buy all the grenades. Take the vertbird down to the airport (why not direct?) , toss another grenade and get to the endpoint just to reacumulate them.

Hey brother, another mod you might like is this one
      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30387/
It lets you push two buttons on the Prydwen to summon a Vertibird there which you can ride directly from there to other map locations, saving you a grenade.

10/10 This mod has saved me heaps of f***ing around, walking everywhere. I've been playing this game for 3 years & even with this mod i've only explored half of the map.

Great mod it was such a pain to run to tinker tom for just five grenades at a time.

Alright dude! great mod used this for ages(endorsed), however now I have installed craftable work benches which force bundles this feature in as well. What is the safest way to disable your mod from my save without causing any problems with leftover scripts etc...

apologies for the noob question, many thanks bro

As stated in previous comment, being able to have your own Vertibirds would be awesome. Something like finding parts for it and then have to build a landing platform in one of your settlement to unlock it.

With the survival update coming soon this mod will be a big help thx to fast travel being disabled but can you add a recipe of caps making it more than buying it at stores for the convenience

I'm with you on this, my only fear is that in disabling fast travel that might somehow affect the vertibird system since you use the map to select the fast travel option. Here's hoping though!

Thanks for the mod, it is truly awesome Ecceau, and thanks for the options for cheaper and more costly. I'm going to use costly to keep in the spirit of things. Endorsement incoming!

Thanks for making this. I decided to modify the recipe for personal use though reducing the more costly one to 1 adhesive, 1 acid, 1 copper, 1 cloth, 2 spring, 2 glass. For something so small making it use 4 cloth and 3 adhesive seemed a little overkill. The copper is a nice touch considering that for an electromagetic field to work it usually needs a copper coil. According to Maxon the grenade emits an electromagetic smoke the Vertibird tracks onto so it brings it a bit more in line with making sense.
