LockedStickyAs of v.92 this mod no longer requires Cosmetic Framework for custom color textures. Style away!

I like this mod, but I would recommend to anyone that uses this mod to make sure your character is immune to fall damage, or else your character will likely die or get very hurt, even in circumstances where it doesn't seem they would. One method that works for me is to use the console on both pieces of your leg armor to give them the "Freefall Legs" effect. Essentially, you drop both leg pieces on the ground, and use the command console "amod 00093BBD" on each one. For more detail, see the following links:

There's a mod to add another version in the Armor WB, giving it 100% impact dampening.
CROSS Jetpack Impact Dampener v3 - No Fall Damage

Is there a way to hide the jetpack? I like the mod but wish the pack were less bulky, like the Starfield Starborn packs.

I wasn't able to get this mod to work on my pc. When I activated the mod my character wouldn't move and I couldn't hit escape had to alt tab out of the game. I only have 2 other mods one is for settlement attacks one is for the power armor omnidirectional light. Possible conflict? But not sure why it would. I had to disable it then the game worked normally.

What exactly do mean, "when I activated this mod?" This is an item that you need to craft, using the Chemistry Workbench. Then, you can modify it at the Armor Workbench. Then, you need to wear it. THEN, you need to use "jump+jump" control to use it. At what point in this process did it fail to do what it's supposed to do?

I can find the crafting recipe for any of your items

I love using this and have played with it for years, but is there any possibility of adding a smaller version? Less bulky and and more streamlined? Thanks for the flying!

Is it compatible with controllers, or can't be used as it works

I would like to use this mod with the MS-06F jetpack... But when I try to put the Advanced Jetpack Mod, the MS_06F texture is replaced by the CROSS one. Does anyone have any idea how I can make these two mods compatible?
The funny thing is that the other Fall Damage Reduction Mod works perfectly.-
I made a workaround to make it work.
Maybe it's a bit of a dumb solution but look what I did.
I simply used both jetpacks at the same time so I was able to have the fall damage reduction + advanced Jetpack modifications. As? Naturally it is not possible to use both at once if you try because unfortunately they use the same slot.
So I had to use FO4Edit to change the slots of one and be able to use both at the same time (I used this tutorial to learn how to do this = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzyJDuWC5WY&t=3s). I deleted the .Ba2 textures from the COSS jetpack Mod files and that was it.
The problem is that if I eventually want to switch to COSS I'll have to put the textures back on and because I use 2 Jetpacks I use a little more stamina than before...

Were you able to correct the 3rd person flames coming out of the wrong place?

This is actually one of the worst mods on this website. It will permanently break a game feature, the visual effects on third person Power Armor jetpack jump. I tried any patch/fix available but nothing works, I would probably need to reinstall the whole game. There should be at least a download warning for this kinda sh*t.
-
same thing happened, can the mod author please patch
-
Now hold your horses calling it the worst mod on the site xD I assume it hasn't been updated to next gen? Cause I remember playing with it, and it worked just fine before the NG update a good while ago. I wanted to download it now, so I assume it just doesn't work on NG (yet).

What? An eight year old mod doesn't work properly? Stop the presses. You need to settle down, you install all mods at your own risk. Nothing other than conversions would need you to "reinstall the whole game." Literally just delete three files. At the very worst you would need to start a new game, but that's your problem for not saving often enough to just roll back pre install....... You need a warning do you? How about the warning right at the top of the page? You know, the bit where it says:
"Last updated
01 May 2016"
Pretty obvious warning it may not quite work the way it did eight years ago right there, bro.

What's the ID?
-
same looking for the id
-
The id is different depending on your mod load order ... just type help "jetpack" and itll give you the unique ID your game generated for it
-
First, Open up the console commands by pressing "~" it should be right below/near your escape key. Then, type in (help Jetpack) without the (), Then, find the ID you wish for an type in "player.additem #ID" without the "" Hope this helped!

Mod compatibility with CROSS Cybernetics seems to be broken in latest update for me. I can't see the jetpack gadget in the when modding the torso frame :')
