I like the idea of a supermarket chain across the commonwealth but you must get better at the construction. I am no expert but walking into this market there is no roof, just clear blue sky . the boss being a thief story needed more depth , the switch to power something up … I never found out what it was for and the other switch did not let me activate it . there were also a few doors that refused to open ,I suppose they will be added to your updates. all in all I liked the mod but was reasonably quickly through the building .more clutter and more items to find would have been nice. a good mod and I hope you expand it through the commonwealth. good luck.
Nicely Done and endorsed. Things I noticed while playing through: Ghouls disappeared through the floor when killed. I could still select them if I knew where their fell, though. Items turned invisible when selecting them. The back in of the warehouse and upper floors were gone (white).
I don't know if anyone else has experienced these, but I thought I'd make note of it. Even though I'm not a modder, (I can't even figure out how to get the CK to work yet) i really appreciate the time and effort to do this. Thanks!
Also, If your interested in building this mod into a quest with a couple more stores around the comonwealth, I have an idea burning in the back of my head about SD Mart, their rival -Valtmart, and a certain govt conspiracy theory that was all the rage of 2077...
this actually sounds like an awesome idea. Sorry I haven't replied, been very busy with doctors and whatnot but now that I'm back if you're still interested in trying to add a quest and stuff to it I'd be more than happy to try to set up something. Going to private message you because for some reason I never get notices about replies/comments, not sure if it's a setting or not.
Ok so for some reason it added a new comment entirely, don't know why cause I know that i hit reply under this comment. Anyways, as that comment states, I would really like to see a mod created using that idea there chipetto, hopefully you and Volbrand can create something amazing!
I love this mod. I think it could use more dead shoppers and ghouls as well as be a bit bigger (but not too much bigger) but overall it took me back to my days as an overnight stocker. Great job replicating one of the smaller 'home town' stores that were popular back in the late 80's/early 90's. I was walking through it while listening to this https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23522/? and it was perfect.
I like the concept, and there are far too few modders out there. Kudos, good job. Disclaimer: I havent tried the latest update Only two things bugs me; with this mod.
Its location and size is not to my taste (it is very close to three other locations that are already within line of sight). Some fun situations can arise - such as one time I got my settlers in County Crossing drawn into a fight between the nearby ghouls and supermutants - and the BOS joined in =D
However I know you cant move it. But perhaps you could drop some vehicles, vegetations and clutter to make the structure blend a bit more with the surroundings? Could use some structural damage as well. Would be a prime target for raiders the last centuries.
Fun but little buggy. Many ghouls turn invisible when receive damage, some walls of this area is not present or disappeared. But many ghouls is excuse all bugs. )) Let more ghouls and give their by waves. ))
Hey! First off, thanks for the awesome mod! I thought you handled the ambush portion pretty well, with some of the enemies sort of hidden away, so it surprised me a couple of times. You also mentioned you want feedback, so here are my thoughts on it. I think the dungeon could have done with a bit more cluttering and detail, especially since small and tight spaces can make a ghoul ambush that much more terrifying. Also, I think the enemies should not all be from the same leveled lists. In my playthrough (A level 52 char) I only encountered the wither ghoul style of enemy. I think about a dozen "lesser" ghouls would have helped make the variety better and increase the pace of the fighting.
Overall, great mod! I look very much forwards to your future mods!
yeah I was really afraid to do too much with clutter and such because I was afraid of messing up navmeshes (Still scares me!) and making areas too small for ghouls to get through. Thank you for your feedback though, I will definitely see about making tighter spaces!
Try just going through the actor menu, or adjusting it so some of the leveled enemies have a min/max level that's set a bit lower. Although the best approach may be to find a bunch of the low level enemies and place them throughout some of the more open areas. And yeah, although it's a pretty easy edit for the navmesh around some of heavier clutter. They really seem to have improved the kit in terms of how it maps out the navmesh. Really, stairs are the worst part for the navmesh.
added in some regular small ghouls and changed up some of the lvlghouls so it should work now. Had this weird problem with some of the ghouls I added yesterday where they wouldn't activate when the area was triggered and remained "friendly." Strange. Did test it out with the new ones and it seemed to do fine after I pulled out some of them.
