Unfortunately couldn't get into the first area where the 3 people are (Lys and co). Said 'you cannot go that way'. Through the archway like in the video. I have some settlements nearby (Northern Exposure mod) and this may be the reason. Although I think their boundary is not this far out.
I endorsed it because I liked the thinking in trying to figure everything out. However, because of Nuka-World being out and in the west side beyond the borders you may need to move your location 4, I believe it was. Also, I could never find the Forgotten Lake / Natick Area boat.
All in all, this was an enjoyable mod. Intuitively found the first location quickly, and everything else fell into place without trouble. My only complaints are that one location conflicts super hard with Nuka World, and I didn't find a note at the lake, making things confusing. As for the finale, I loved it. Was fucking stupid in exactly the way I like. The foreshadowing was also great.
This mod clashes in its current state with "Nuka World" and possibly with "Tales of the Commonwealth", "Billionaires Vault" and "Outcasts and Remnants", as all of these change the areas in the west including the Natick-Banks area. As a result not all quest stages are actually visible, or are suspended in the air (Traffic Jam). I never found the Forgotten lake and its boat, nor the caravan but the rest of the areas were visible and accessible. I have to admit though that I needed the walkthrough as I was almost pulling my hair out from trying to find these places in a changed landscape.

But eventually found the Trunk.
I could not pick up the Recruiters note --- until I shot it.
Jolly good show, my good man. This quest is exactly the right balance of weird, unsettling and misdirecting Fallout is known for :)
Would recommend.

You found the temple fine?
